The other quiz is more of an individual affair as all the answers are given on the site. This one only confirms correct answers so it can be more of a joint effort, any takers?
All the record covers represented below were either big hits or were put out by well-known acts. Doesn't mean that they're easy to recognise. This particular quiz is impenetrable to anoraks and Google-proof. You can't cruise through this one, no matter how many back issues of "Record Collector" you've got.
See if you can identify any of them. Then, fill in the fields below with the artists and album titles you've managed to put names to.
Finally, click 'submit', and we'll show you the answers. Easy. There's plenty of prestige to play for. Then send it to a friend. Or an enemy

I have a friend who is a music encyclopedia. I sent him the link to this thread.

Good, perhaps he'll drop by and help. Because the only one I have got is number 8 which is an album by Paul McCartney and Wings but I can't remember which one.

They should have called it the "Ten-year-old British rock bands that may-or-may-not have been imported to the U.S." quiz.

It must be an age thing. I've highlighted the ones I haven't heard of, and to be fair although Everything but the Girl did, I think, have a US hit it was probably fairly minor.
