100 Seconds That Prove Rush Limbaugh Is Losing The Boycott Wars (http://election.democraticunderground.com/10023018034)

http://samuel-warde.com/2013/06/100-seconds-of-dead-air-on-rush-limbaugh-show-no-sponsors-audio/

Oh the sweet sound of nothing for 100 seconds of ’dead air’ on the Fox News Radio Network’s Rush Limbaugh Show. What does that mean? It means Limbaugh is losing the war. It means the American public and consumers are winning, and it’s another unmistakable sign that Limbaugh’s days as ‘King of Hate Radio’ are over.

A very bad year it’s been for Rush Limbaugh. For decades, he has spun his blatant racism, sexism and bigotry. He has no filter, no shame. There are lists of his offenses. It’s nothing for him to mock a disabled man, call a little girl ugly, link same-sex/equal marriage to pedophilia or make demeaning remarks about the poor and homeless. He can be quite the idiot as well, saying there was never a national budget surplus under President Clinton or calling global warming a ‘hoax.’ Media Matters has an archive of audio/text going back six years, containing a plethora of malicious commentary for anyone to check.

Limbaugh’s parent company, Clear Channel, and the FCC did not budge. So the people took matters into their own hands and began contacting his sponsors, telling them they would not buy products that supported or sponsored the Rush Limbaugh Show. What happened? Over 2600 sponsors pulled their ads to date. And the results? DEAD AIR

Dead air? There's gotta be a joke in that somewhere.

Look DUmmies.  Rush will retire when he wants to.  He's been on the air for 25 years nationally, he ain't going anywhere until he decides.  Despite your lame attempts to get rid of him, he is still the most popular radio voice in America.

Rush's show is syndicated. It's not one of Fox's network programs.

I think this is recycled news from the Fluck Flap. I remember them crowing about "100 seconds" back then.  On the other hand, the audio file in the article must be true.  You couldn't fake something like that....right?

Follow the link to the commie blog...it starts with a local female announcer giving station ID and then the silence ending with the traditional Rush theme music.
Easily could have been faked but as the lefty commentators pointed out was a oops by the local station.

The day Rush decides to retire the DUmmies will all celebrate and claim that their stupid boycotts finally worked well over 20 years later.

More than likely the engineer was in the bathroom or the computer equipment screwed up. Lots of scenarios could cause some dead air. Dead air to a radio station is a big no-no. They will fill it with anything and if they don't have ads to put in it they will put in their own station's promo if they know in advance.

Another liberal wet dream without a happy ending.

My mother worked at radio station all my life. Dead air happens all the time. it used to be human errors but now is probably just a program glitch in the machines or the guy manning the machines took longer for an ill timed squirt.

Again, the DUches never get tired of screaming their stupidity to the rest of the world.....and I will never get tired of laughing and pointing it out.

Anyone ever hear of a "MIJI" report ? I used to hear what I thought were MIJI attempts when I listened to Rush sometimes. I tried to call to tell him about it, but his call in line is always jammed.

That's because he can't afford to pay the phone bill due to lack of sponsors!!!!!!11
