I just recently heard on the radio, that by the end of this century (http://election.democraticunderground.com/10023017856)
The world population will reach 11 billion people.
Now we know there aren't enough resources to feed/shelter that many people. It's not a viable option. We are already distroying natural habitats if other species at an extreamly high rate, and driven many into extinction.
Should human procreation be planned/limited? Or we should keep reproducing at the same rate regardless?
What do you fellow DUrs think?

Well, have you ever been out of the east coast? Plenty of room for people, plenty of resources to use.
Shut up. :bird:

God, she is one stupid bitch.
That is all.

It's working great for China. Plumbers are making a fortune digging babies out of sewer pipes.

Well, it seems to me the darkangel primitive can start, by dying off so there's at least one less person in the world.
And after her, the rest of the primitives.

The human population of the universe may very well get to 11 billion. Hopefully many more times than that. Hopefully, Governments won't stand in the way when the technology to get off world and live off world is created. I think the technology could be completed in fifteen years if we really wanted it.

Yeah. Start with the ones on welfare. Propose to your Democrat politician that the welfare parasites need to be chemically sterilized. Cool?

3. 11 billion-What do you fellow DUrs think?
I think if we stay on the current course, and I have no reason to assume otherwise, that by the end of this century humans will be mostly,if not completely extinct.
-
By the end of the century? If we get a few more Barack Obamas, I don't think we'll last that long.
Besides, once Guam tips over, the population should decrease some.
-
Well now, I nominate the flashing primitive to help out on the problem, by doing himself in so as to lessen the load on Mother Gaia.
And after the flashing primitive, the rest of the primitives, if they're so concerned.

Not to hijack the thread or anything, but your post reminded me of something I was thinking about earlier today.
If homosexuality is genetic like homos and their apologists claim, and it was fully accepted into society including gay marriage like homos and their apologists want and there was no reason to be closeted, how long would it take for the gene to become extinct due to lack of procreation? The equivalent of one human lifespan?
How does that sit with DUmmies, knowing their "beautiful thing" would be selected for extinction by nature, Darwinian-style, because it doesn't comply with the natural order of reproduction and propagation of the species?
Would they insist on having their own line of "breeders" to utilize sperm and ova from homos just to keep the genetic line going? How do they figure that, or do they even think about it?

Please don't give them any more ideas.

Here's my idea, nuke the the middle east, drill through the glass, rebuild the piping infrastructure (lots of jobs) and live good.
Added bonus, islam takes a huge hit and we don't worry about them so much. win-WIN!!!

Didn't some libbie environazi say that about the population back in the late seventies?
Along with the new ice age.
Along with the USA was in a decline.
Along with the USSR was going to be the dominant power for the next 100 years?
Along with the world was running out of natural gas
Along with the world was running out of oil
Along with the world was running out of food.
Now dummie... I know it is hard, but engage the one brain cell you have left... what do all the predictions that I just mentioned have in common? Come on now... think hard. Google it if you have to.
Nothing comes to mind, dummie? No surprise since you don't have one. Perky will help you out though.
Here is the answer:
They were all wrong!!!!!

Humans are some of the most adaptable creatures imaginable. We've settled in areas where the temperature doesn't move above freezing for months at a time, and in areas where triple digits temperatures are common for months out of the year. We've settled in areas with abundant fertile land, and in some of the harshest terrain on the planet and survived.
Personally, I don't think it it my business to tell people that they should or shouldn't have more children. I personally would love a large family. However, the western world is barely reproducing at the baseline replacement rate. Most of the world's population growth is occurring in the third world, where quite simply it is not uncommon still for families to lose a number of children at a young age. Why does DarkAngel hate third world people so much that she would dictate to them how many children they should have?
-
So far 19 of those idiots say thy want a limit on children.
LostOne4Ever (561 posts)
24. Promote birthcontrol
Give tax breaks for families with 2 or fewer children, and lower the population via information.
As usual the DUmmy confuses information with propaganda that the left loves to spew.

One of the most prevalent reasons for death in Africa is starvation, yet they keep screwin' like rabbits. Meanwhile we allow scrunts to do the same thing and wipe out a quarter of a generation via abortion.
Perhaps we should send Gosnell and his buds overseas.
DUmmies is stooooopid!

I'm with Rebel. How does one become "Mostly extinct" ?

If the world is doomed because of human overpopulation why does the party of Darwin insist on a social construction that supports useless eaters in the name of a presumably non-existent morality?

Absolutely agree.
The modern eugenics movement (which avoid the title after the bad press it got last time) is profoundly racist...that much is clear to anybody who looks into it at even a basic level.
-
And, as usual, the primitives don't know the Bible.

She deleted that one too, WTH?

I'll be damned. She did, about two and a half hours ago.

One thing about living off world is that we do not know if we can breed out there.
There is good reason some refer to Mother Moon, we humans have adapted to it's cycle over millions of years and were the moon to get knocked out of orbit, life on earth would die out. There would be no tides and the oceans would become cesspools of disease.
This Mars experiment is interesting, Mars has more then one moon and what the effects on the Females and their ability to have children is something we will just have to wait and see until we get there. Pity the Males if the females get their period every other week.
If in fact females can breed what are the effects on the children born to them, will they survive ?? After 3 generations will the New Martians even look like Earth people ? Will they resemble the pictures of eye witnesses to what they believe are space men ??
There is a REASON God put humans on Earth and not Mars or Jupiter, He made us in His image and where ever HE and his Angles came from had to insure that when one of them came to earth they could also exist for a time here, Lucifer seems to have taken up residence shortly after Adam and Eve and has hung out with no ill effects to himself. I wonder if Lucifer will follow humans off Earth and give us on Earth a much needed break from his influence ?
Vagabond, just musing on ramifications of us humans leaving to go places God never intended us to go.

Sure, let's limit how many children welfare queens can have. It would solve a lot of problems.
