To all the half-witted potheads in Colorado, words of wisdom from a journo fire expert:

All of you in Colorado
getting smoked in. (Lordy, second monster in less than a year, Waldo's anniversary is next week)
If you got asthma (my doc would love it if I followed my own advise) try to stay indoors. Believe it or not your AC can filter some, but i avoid running mine. If you can't...a wetted down bandana works over nose/mouth to filter some of the crap. It can be the difference.
Now, after the fire is over...especially if you were under quite a bit of smoke, even if not chasing brush trucks...highly consider taking your vehicles to the mechanic and changing those air filters. Trust me on this...they can get real clogged with it and kill your gas mileage.
We cover fires, so during the summer I change that filter more often, but while sensible people evacuate, I drive towards them. How else do we get impressive photos? Now if I could get a 600 mm lens I could get *some* distance.

Your homes may burn down, but never forget it's all about nadin.

"chasing brush trucks"
::)
reminds me of "chasing parked cars".
Change the filter? DUH!!! :mental:
-
If I'm understanding her correctly she's instructing them that it's best not to breathe smoke. She's a genius. A trained historian for sure.
Is there a hidden forum on DU where she instructs them when and how to take a dump or a piss?
-
How else do we get impressive photos?
Has anyone ever seen an impressive photo from the nutcase?
Even with all the advantages of The Good Rig, they're boring as hell, poorly framed, and usually out of focus.
-
I wonder when she's gonna lay the bomb on them?
It's all infrastructure problems, that's why they have the fires.
LOL
KC

I would not put that past the bald dwarf.

I have no doubt your doctor has advised you to stay indoors, but it hardly has anything to do with asthma. I'm 100% sure his recommendation started out "You're so frickin' ugly, you really should....."
.

I noticed a facebook post today telling when is the best times during the day to drink water. I wondered if it might be nads, but then I noticed that there wasn't any misspellings or indecipherable codes.

Please Nadin, just stop. You're not giving out new information. People are more than capable of figuring this out.

Even if there was, It wouldn't matter - Nads doesn't understand that procedure either - All the crap that comes spewing out of her mouth makes it clear she has that activity bass-ackwards.

Another boring load of dren. By the time anyone followed her so called advice their home would have burned down to the basement.
-
Hmmm...change the air filter. "And get your mechanic to do it'. That seems like such a good idea that no one has ever thought of, I might start checking my air filter every time I change the oil. I only regret that nads didn't suggest regular oil changes earlier. Now I have to find that wascally air filter thingy. Maybe I can find a mechanic who knows where it is.

You have to be one lazy SOB, or just plain ignorant, to rely on a mechanic to change an air filter.

I'd like to know what ths sad cafe primitive said, to incite all this nadin-boosterism.

Part of me agrees, the other part of me can only wish for such high aspirations. With regards to nads, will she answer to SOB ?

She is doing the people of Colorado a favor by telling a bunch of people who are watching a fire destroy their homes that a fire is destroying their homes (just in case there is any confusion about what is happening to their homes and the cause of it).

Her reporting of local fires raises her to almost, paid-professional status. But damn she's gutsy, NOMEX and all.

Responds to herself?? Of course.
