Stinky The Clown
This is pretty ****ed up
What might account for the shift?
Right is right and wrong is wrong.

The immoral left stating that right is right and wrong is wrong. :rotf:
This is too funny and surreal at the same time.
ATTN PRIMITIVES: This is what you've been doing since January 2001 on the island and in your daily lives prior to that. You've ALWAYS chosen party and liberalism over reality. ALWAYS.
In 2006, the NSA was tracking down terrorists to catch them before they attacked, which according to liberals violated their rights to privacy, and that's why you disapproved. At least in 2013 Republicans have a legitimate concern seeing how the IRS (under Dear Leader's administration) targeted conservative groups. Who's Dear Leader most likely to have the NSA domestically target except those who are opposed to his political agenda? History has show well how the left abuses power to eliminate their opposition.
You idiots have no excuse except "He has a 'D' behind his name, so we trust him." Suckers.

Stinky has to ask "what might account for the shift?" Are you f-ing kidding me? It's OK when our side does it! Are you that dense, Stinky? (This applies to both sides, BTW.)
The Independent number surprised me a little.

Grandma Judy's guardians--her children and grandchildren, who don't want her posting on the internet because it makes her look bad--must've been working the night shift, or something, and the pie-and-jam primitive disobeyed them, getting on the computer again. They really need to lock up that computer.

25. It just means a lot of simple souls out there trust their own party with potentially catastrophic power but they've got no use for those bums you elect, they'll do their worst every time.
Of course, I do trust a constitutional scholar [sic] a bit more than I trust a swaggering fake cowboy who squeaked through biz school with a legacy's grading curve, but not by much. I trust the former as far as I can throw a spinet piano by its pedals. I trusted the latter as far as I could throw a concert grand by one leg.

14. there was good reason not to trust Bush , but republicans just don't like a black guy
being president.
:thatsright: :bird:
BTW, Warpy, obozo is no constitutional scholar. Outside the hive, people are getting called on that on regular public boards (where everyone can speak). He gave a couple lectures on one tiny part of the constitution. Hell, I can do that.

Too bad Obama (Constitutional Scholarâ„¢) wants to keep his grades private otherwise we would be able to really compare his grades with W's. The irony of that is lost on the DUmmie.

The Independent number surprised me a little.
Karin,
The number is not reliable. Here's why:
The 2006 poll had three options for political identity:
A. Republican
B. Democrat
C. Independent (not A and not B)
The 2013 poll had three options:
D. Republican
E. Democrat
F. Independent (not D and not E)
C is made up of people who did not identify themselves as members of the Republican or Democrat Parties in 2006; F is made up of people who did not identify themselves as members of either party in 2013. C and F can include people who are hard left, hard right, moderate, and apolitical (everything from libertarians to anarchists to communists to "no opinion"). The people who are lumped into C and F are vastly different from each other, so we have no way to identify characteristics of C or F aside from "not Republican or Democrat".
Added to that is the TEA Party, which did not exist in 2006. It is reasonable to think that people who call themselves TEA Party members in 2013 called themselves Republicans in 2006.
C =/= F, so we can't compare them to reach a conclusion which can be generalized.
-
Dead on BD. In 2006 I would have identified as a Republican. I helped form our little Tea Party group and now identify as an independent and/or a Constitutional Conservative.
-
Kerry's grades were still worse than Bush's.
You guys suck at this game.

Posts like that are why I have my sig line.
A couple of points:
1. In January 2006 the NSA was NOT heaving a dragnet over every American citizen.
2. In June 2013 a democrat is president.
1. Explains much of the change in republican opinion.
2. Explains all of the change in democrat opinion.
Also not the wide swing in democrat opinion due to point 2.
This just proves what clueless ****s most democrats are.

36. No, they lied.
The poll is BS. No way in hell that 64% of Dems would be for being spied upon.
Don't you read your own site, dipshit? People have been making post after post saying they have nothing to hide and they don't care.
Jeebus, take the temperature here on DU. Aside from the paid apologists, everyone is furious.
I guess not.

A lot of the gheys would want this to happen:
Jeebus, take the temperature here on DU.
They'd request the rectal thermometer.

HOPE you DUmbasses don't notice the shit I pull while I fundamentally CHANGE America into a communist gulag.

24... In fact there are some, including the author of the Patriot Act that are saying the current president is taking the Patriot Act farther than the Bush Gang ever imagined.
Stop the presses. A truth told by a primitive.
Of course, it has to be immediately stomped out. Can't let the truth stand.

48. "current president is taking the Patriot Act farther than the Bush Gang ever imagined" Bullshit.
Any Bush appointee who said that is a lying sack of shit.
Poor buzzy. He'd like so much to be viewed as someone who gives both sides a look before he decides, but then he blows the lid off that lie by saying things like this.
Part of the Patriot Act was to use electronic surveillance to entrap terrorists, which is what Bush did. Was Obama doing the same? He'd be crazy not to. But he went beyond just spying on terrorists and other countries. Way beyond. There's the problem.
So yes, Obama went beyond what the Bush administration ever went, and to deny it is to show your partisanship, buzzy. Until the left starts pointing fingers at themselves and noticing just how hypocritical they are, then there's no reason for any of us to listen. We're smarter than you and our life experiences are much too full and extensive to be fooled by your nonsense. To be believed, you'll have to severely change your ways. Don't try and tell me how the 99% should join hands against the 1% when you want me to join hands with a bunch of liars. If the measure is whether corporations are lying to me or liberals, then that's easy. I've caught liberals lying to me a minimum of 10,000 to 1 over corporations.

Condoms fail, castration has a 100% success rate.
If he hasn't been castrated yet, I'll do it for him on the cheap. (Hell, I'll do it for FREE if he has no kids now!)
I have extensive experience with castrating farm animals, DUmmies should be no problem.
Anesthesia optional :-)

Hey BuzzSuck...the "author" of the Patriot act was NOT a "Bush appointee".
He was a congressman elected by the people of Wisconsin.
Damn, you're an idiot.

Do you accept tips ? But in all seriousness, it didn't take the libs on DU long to go to their tried and true racist accusations.

I used iodine instead of turpentine.
They still didn't like it. :lmao:
