First Things First, an organization dedicated to keeping dads involved in kids’ lives, reports that 60 percent of all families in the city of Richmond are single-parent households. Within the African-American demographic, that number spikes up to 86 percent, a number that surpasses the national average.

Those families are condemned to generations of illiteracy, poverty, crime, incarceration and substance abuse.

Lt. Col. Allen West talked about this issue the other night. He said this is generational and we are in the third and fourth generations of this growing problem....it just keeps getting worse.

How in the hell did this happen? The complete removal of the stigma of an unwed pregnancy? We have 3 pregnancies in the company right now, not a one of them is married. They're not scumbags; well educated, well mannered, etc. I just don't get it.

Blame this on the constant downward redefinition of the morals the country once held dear. We are now dealing with the ashes of a couple of fires that started in the 60's called 'free love', 'do your own thing' and 'if it feels good do it'.

And "stickin' it to the man", if by man they mean any conservative. Then again, I don't know if they're all that choosy when it comes to sticken' it to the man.
