Baltimore Ravens center Matt Birk boycotts White House visit

Matt Birk stands by his convictions.
The retired, six-time Pro Bowl center opted not to visit the White House this week with his Baltimore Ravens teammates because he disagrees with President Obama’s stance on abortion.
The Ravens visited the White House on Wednesday, in keeping with the tradition of Super Bowl champions.
Birk, a Harvard graduate and winner of the NFL’s Walter Payton Man of the Year award in 2012, is a devout Catholic and father of six.
He was particularly angered by what Obama said at the end of a speech at a Planned Parenthood conference in April: “Thank you, Planned Parenthood. God bless you. God bless America. Thank you.â€

the President doesn't care is Birk isn't there, but its Birks lost because now he doesn't get to meet the President or say that he was in parts of the White House most people will never get to see. Does he think the President is going to suddenly say "OMG Birk didn't come? I have to completely change my views on abortion!!"

230 grains of copper jacketed lead is anti-biotic. I find the treatment is much more effective if it's administered a little higher, as well.

I still have a few Horse syringes that would work just fine! We oughta use the one that would give us the best results. It's got a needle about the size of a 16 penny sinker.
I would recommend sulfuric acid, but that's just me. Guaranteed to clean ya out, doncha know!

Birk has fame and riches of his own making. I doubt very seriously he's going to leave this Earth thinking, "What have I done? I missed my chance to see the White House!!!" Besides, as a six-time Pro Bowl-er I'll bet he's already been there and done that.

Even worse, they sometimes strike back at us like angry rattlesnakes. I can't understand it when all we are trying to do as decent, civilized human beings is educate...
