Poll question: Who was the worst Democratic president?
Poll result (148 votes)
Andrew Jackson (17 votes, 11%)
Martin Van Buren (4 votes, 3%)
James Buchanan (49 votes, 33%)
Grover Cleveland (1 votes, 1%)
Harry S. Truman (10 votes, 7%)
Woodrow Wilson (10 votes, 7%)
Andrew Johnson (9 votes, 6%)
James K. Polk (3 votes, 2%)
Jimmy Carter (28 votes, 19%)
Other (17 votes, 11%)
It's a very large bonfire, much bickering, squibble-squabbling, and armpit-wiggle-waggling among the primitives.
As usual, the primitives appear to know as much about history as they do about anything else.

147. 28% think Carter?
Guess that goes to show how many freepers have infiltrated here.

No clinton, no kennedy.
Not a real poll, even there

You're thinking he was one of the greats? :lmao: Deluuuusional./Rosie

I noticed the stuttering primitive very carefully picked only long-ago Democrats, other than the Incompetent One (1977-1981).

To show how little the primitives know about history, Grover Cleveland is generally considered by professional historians to have been the most honest, the most decent, Democrat ever to occupy the White House.
James Polk is the only president in all of American history, of any party, who kept 100% of his campaign promises.
The denigration of Andrew Jackson and Woodrow Wilson is understandable, given their resemblance to George Bush, of course. Jackson was against the established interests, the elites, and Wilson was for liberating the oppressed and promoting democracy.

What no FDR ?

Wilson? Please. I give you the Espionage Act of 1917 and the Sedition Act of 1918 where literally THOUSANDS of people against WWI were imprisoned under at best weak cases. The left loves to rail on about how Bush is persecuting liberals, curtailing free speech, etc., etc., etc...look at what REALLY happened to the left under a DEMOCRAT.
Then again, I'd have voted my three worst Dems (in no particular order) as FDR, Carter, and LBJ.

Now, remember, Wilson being a man wasn't perfect; he had his dark side too.
But I'm thinking more of the brighter side of Wilson, this liberation of the oppressed and promotion of democracy side of him.

To a point, also true, but even he was far more guilty than Bush of "concocting" a reason for war.

Wilson ran for re-election on the slogan "He kept us out of war",regarding WWI which was raging in Europe.
Almost immediately after winning he changed that position.
Not a critique of the reasons for entering WWI but to put the matter in the light of the inner person.
He was a politician that won re-election based on a campaign slogan and promise that was a complete fallacy or as the DUmmies have grown so fond of the word post Clinton...a lie.

Looks like 28% of the DUmbasses were alive or not stoned during The reign of incompetence.

Actually, I found the comment by Ms. Ed the unappellated eohippus interesting for another reason.
If one reads the poll, it was 28 primitives, or 19% of those responding, who voted for the Incompetent One.
It was not 28%.
Allegedly the High Priestess of Moloch to the primitives is a registered nurse; the lowest-paid R.N. in America, with $24,000 per year.
Nurses are specifically trained to be really careful about reading numbers, to be sure they don't use the wrong one when giving medication, for example.
And so again, either the nonmonickered equine is not a nurse, or she is a nurse one wouldn't want dolling out medications.

Good catch, Coach! H5 . . . I'm also thinking that she's not a transcriptionist, either.

I'm not dismissing any possibilities, even that of Ms. Ed being a bona fide R.N., but more and more it seems like to me a keyboardist, data entry work, which I imagine would bring one circa $24,000 in northern Texas.
It's the way in which she posts, and it compares exactly with the same way other primitives allegedly or known to be data-entryists, post.

Coach, if she were (or is it "was?") a good transcriptionist, she would have caught the 28 primitives and the fact that it was only 19% of the total of the primitives who had voted to that point. Those two numbers tell me that the total number of primitives, at that time, who had put their markers into whichever pile they chose was 150. I'm not a transcriptionist--I'm a real estate appraiser, with a scientific background (which might explain why I'm decent at numbers-type of things), and I'm not one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. :-)

Actually, when one looks at the past fifty years and the Democrat presidents, Lyndon Johnson was undoubtedly the best of the lot. Most of us disagree with his politics and policies, but when compared with Kennedy, the Incompetent One, and the Impeached One, Johnson is stellar.
I could never figure out why the primitives on Skins's island revere Kennedy, the Incompetent One, and the Impeached One, so much, and revile Johnson. The primitives really hate Johnson.
But Kennedy, the Incompetent One, and the Impeached One, never did excresence for the primitives, while on the other hand Johnson made existence possible for the primitives. It wasn't any of his three fellow Democrats who expanded social services.
The primitives owe their unearned life-time pensions and free medical care to Johnson.
Johnson is the classic example of "no good deed goes unpunished."
Of course, it was "good works" financed by other people's money (the taxpayers), but that doesn't make any difference to the primitives, who admire Vast Teddy for his magnamity, his generosity, not seeing that Vast Teddy expresses his "social conscience" with other people's money, not his own.
I always thought that if the primitives were truly grateful for the vast riches Johnson bestowed upon him, on Johnson's birthday every year, in San Francisco for example, the primitives should put on their Buddhist robes and gather around a temple.
And then out would come a huge statue of Buddha Lyndon, carried on a platform. The statue of Buddha Lyndon would then be carried around the temple three times, while the primitives scattered rose petals and lotus leaves and gems in its path, ooomming and aaahhing and bowing in grateful benediction.
Stupid primitives, who have no idea who was their friend, and who wasn't.
