I think it is trying (and failing) to create illusions about anti-Jewish prejudices in the Muslim world. If there was a "972mag" equivalent in any of the predominantly Muslim neighbors of Israel that was willing to turn a camera and shine a light on the virulent anti-Jewish remarks and chants then that might be valuable and instructive. Of course anyone who attempts to direct attention to that sort of thing is assumed to be a RW bigot, yet somehow those who do that kind of thing in Israel and brave and heroic.

Watching the DUmpmonkiez try to defend the Islamic world and say, with a straight face, that there is no anti-semitism is like watching your dog chase its own tail.

Yet the American Jewish community votes predominately leftist despite the fact that dems would make Israel disappear overnight if they could.
Not only is it an inconvenience to the socialist world view that all cultures would be at peace without Capitalism it grates on them that this country of the Bible still exists.

Yes, of course. It is so much better to have an all oppressive government that hates any dissenters....only if they are conservative.

Do you think there's such thing as Jewish anti-Arabism, or anti-Islamicism? Don't you think the author is addressing that possibility, as well?

I'm not expecting you to defend it, any more than you should expect me to defend some racist shit fresh from Hamas. I don't expect to ever be able to deal with people who would call out one side for racism but not the other, so whose entire energy goes into defending the indefensible.
Anyhow, it's a fairly long document and I'm just now reading it. Perplexed, though, by your insta-reaction.
I could get onboard with having a national paid holiday celebrating Jerusalem Day here in the United States, if it's like the DUmmy described it.

Fill me in here was not Israel a British protectorate for many years and given to the survivor's of the Holocaust to rebuild a home land for themselves ???
Was this not a way to prevent the survivor's from reclaiming their homes and property from Europeans that now lived on their property and feared they would have to move out for the real owners to move back home and demand their family's possessions ?
Even the Swiss banks holding money from the survivors family and Museum's that held works of art stolen from the survivors were worried about the survivors coming to claim what was there's.
Where do the Palestinians come in here, they had a hell hole that few wanted to live in, did nothing to improve the land, spent their time fighting the British as they had nothing better to do. This Protectorate was costing the British big money with no return, no Oil, no gold just a big spot of sand.
No other country in the world would offer land to the Jews so British offered the Survivors a land that the Jews would surely die on. Little did they realize the outpouring of money and Jewish brains that flocked to Israel to change the land from a pile of sand into a garden with forests and a land of technology and people who were willing to defend to the death.
Today, the cave men of Islam demand they reap the benefits of the blood, sweat and tears of the survivors and their children and grand children. What a freaking nerve they have-----had this plot of sand been left alone with out the Jews coming in to transform it, these cave men would only visit it once a year on camel back to restock for further travel.
Screw the PLO they have no country of their own and never had any rights to the land in the first place.
