RIP. Love all his movies. I saw one yesterday I hadn't seen before. "The Sea Chase" defiantly something different for him to play a German during WWII and that he didn't care for Der Furher.

Sort of reminscent of the captain in Das Boot. If it was a real occurrence (the Duke being a U-boat captain), I wonder how they would have crammed someone his size into one of them!
