Help Me Crash the Tea Party

The tea party morons are rallying again in Cinncinatti, Chicago, Denver, and other cities. We need to shut them down.

Call your senators and representatives. Tell them to end the IRS hearings and let the IRS investigate the tea party groups.

I also suggest counter rallying. We need to have progressive rallies out by them and drown their voices out with ours.

If we sit out again like we did in 2010, the tea party reps will take back the senate, repeal Obamacare, and shove their corporate fascism down our throats.

I currently rely on the affordable care act and I'll be screwed if it's repealed.

Back in 2010, I donated to Gabby Giffords campaign. When I found out about the attempt on her life and the other people that fell victim to Jared Loughner, that was the last straw. I severed connections with my teabagger friends, called up republican representatives in and from my state to yell at them, and started to campaign for my friend who was running for state representative as a Democrat. He lost, but it felt good to stand up for what I know is right.

No more excuses.

Just ignore the voices who warn of tyranny.

Really ?

Since you are concerned about the rise of an American Sturmabteilung I would suggest that you should be far more concerned that Obama has used Homeland Security to flesh out a national police force than by actions covered by Freedom of Assembly by a bunch of otherwise unaligned citizens.

You didn't know that, did you primitive ?

Not that I am anti-police or anti-military - but there is a reason why there are divisions between our armed services, our state guardsmen, and our municipal police.

Most of the leadership of the Brown Shirts were queers......and which party has the majority of queers?

Alright, first, am I the only one who is amused by the fact that this DUmmy accuses Tea Partiers of being "Morons," then in the same sentence badly misspells the name of a large American city (It's spelled "Cincinnati")?

Second, "Tell them to end the IRS hearings and let the IRS investigate the tea party groups."
Their investigations of those groups were unfounded and quite possibly illegal. But, hey, you're a liberal: You have no problem with breaking laws in order to silence those who disagree with you.

"I also suggest counter rallying. We need to have progressive rallies out by them and drown their voices out with ours."
You guys tried that in the Tea Party's early days, and accomplished nothing but exposing to the world that YOU are the deranged, hateful extremists, not the Tea Partiers.

"Back in 2010, I donated to Gabby Giffords campaign. When I found out about the attempt on her life and the other people that fell victim to Jared Loughner, that was the last straw. Oh God, not this again. Let me repeat a couple points one more time, as it appears some DUmmies still believe the lie that Loughner was a right wing extremist:
1. Not only is there zero evidence that Loughner was a Tea Partier or a conservative/ Republican in any way, there is a buttload of evidence that Loughner was an ultra-liberal, based on his own Youtube page and the accounts of people who personally knew him. In either case, the shooting wasn't about politics; If it were, he likely would have targeted a more outspoken politician than Giffords, a Blue Dog Democrat who had conservative positions on some issues (i.e. immigration) and liberal positions on other issues (i.e. gun control), and wasn't outspoken enough on any of them to really draw a lot of attention to herself. The only things motivating Loughner were his own madness and his psychotic obsession with Giffords, which he'd had since 2007.
2. One of the "Other people who fell victim to Jared Loughner" was a Bush- appointed conservative judge who was killed in the shooting. Do you think a "right wing extremist" would have killed him?

I'm pretty sure the DU OP is a mole - the thought of a pro-IRS rally is perhaps the funniest notion I have read at DU in a long time.

People may not be convinced by The Benghazi issue, as its a complex problem in a faraway land. They may not be convinced by the AP/Fox etc. targeting because the people involved aren't them.

However --

EVERYONE -regardless of political leanings- neither likes nor trusts the IRS.

Only an absolute nutbar would be waiving the Taxman flag.

Oh, but those that don't pay taxes but get a refund(annual welfare check) every year love the IRS.

That is true today. - however, before the Obama administration, people who got tax refunds were just as likely to get audited as anyone else.

Hard to tell these days. The Republicans seem far too willing to bend over and grab the ankles whenever Dhimmi'Rats want to reach around across the aisle.
