Elijah Cummings Admits Corruption and Abuse of Power at IRS

Top Democrat Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Maryland) admitted during a House hearing today that the IRS inappropriately and possibly illegally targeted conservative groups during the 2012 election.

Not one Tea Party group was granted tax exempt status for a period of 27 months before the election while numerous progressive groups were granted the privilege by the IRS.

Max is covering his dainty pink ass. He's on record CALLING for the IRS to do precisely what they just confessed to doing. If he weren't "retiring", that would need to hang around his neck like an albatross come campaign season.

Ol' Max better be careful what he asks for, he just might find his pressure to investigate conservative non-profits rise up to bite him in his ass.

I watched part of the IRS hearings yesterday. Baucus went off on a tangent about Crossroads PAC and how the IRS should've been fighting to get tax breaks for them changed. He looked like an idiot.

I'd like to see more investigation into the senators and house members (Sheila Jackass Lee) got involved in all this. I read that Sheila was involved in the mess with True the Vote in Houston.

Her district was rife with voter fraud that "True The Vote" found.
