Been on the search and rescue shtick

So let me tell you what is on the mind of fire personnel tonight. The only thing in their minds is the mission, find anybody alive if they can.

While at it, they are seeing things that will be in the back of their minds. It will not hit them until after the mission is over more likely.

They will do their job, that goes for police and EMS as well as the Guard...

It will be later.

At times much later...that it will hit them.

So if you know anybody in the business...and they chose to talk...listen...shut up and listen. They rarely do.

And you know what? The other people getting, and already breaking down, are your local reporters. I gotta admit I rarely thought about them, but...they will also have a job to do...and chances are will break down later.

16. Wait - are you telling me that first responders are looking for anyone alive they can find?

My god. That bit of insight has changed my entire outlook on first responders. I thought
they started by setting up lawn darts and a bonfire.

14. Vibes to all the victims, families and

emergency workers.

So sick of that statement from DUmmies.

I do wonder though, exactly how many vibes a DUmbshit can produce in it's lifetime? Is it a limited number, or is it akin to semen or something where it just keeps reproducing/being made?

(Sorry, I know that was gross, but these people piss me off, and therefore deserve my grossness.)

Methinks Nadin should take this advice herself on a daily basis, regardless of first responders or not.  Just in general.  Perhaps she'd get along better with folks.

Why, why, why can't this bitch be a victim of her own hubris?  She makes everything about her; her opinion, her "experience", her frigging past lives!  I wish she'd go hug a turban.

gNads ain't built to listen. Her mission in life is to impart her wisdom on the benighted DUmmies, and listening is not part of the equation.

AP - San Diego - An obese balding man died tragically today while caught in a raging backcountry wildfire. The man was trying to take photographs of the fire in an area where firefighters had warned citizens to evacuate. The man claimed to be a reporter with a local newspaper. San Diego county fire officials claimed that they had dealings with the deceased in the past and said they felt the man was a danger to himself and others. No record of the man working for any local newspapers and no press credentials exist for the man. "For lack of a better word, this individual was stalking the San Diego County Fire Department," said SDFD spokesman Tom Harriman, "kind of like a fireman's groupie, you get these loons from time to time, thinking they know how to be firemen or reporters or DEA agents in a drug war, they usually lose interest but this guy was persistent." No family has been contacted as it appears that the man was living out of a 1989 Toyota Corolla parked under a bridge in an industrial park.

AP- San Diego - Errata - the man who died in the wildlands fire yesterday was actually a woman who resembled a fat balding dwarf

Nads should write a gritty, search and rescue novel like Mickey Spillane did with Private Eyes.

"When EMTs talk, you just shut up and listen."

 :whatever:

Bullshit.  There have been hundreds of interviews done with S&R personnel and most of them talk about how hard it is finding the victims while searching for survivors.

The crazy bald dwarf gets it.

Clearly, no one here gets it.

She doesn't expect us to get it.

Nadin is all about getting it.

She's a getting-it machine.

Well I guess we all were wrong about what firemen do for a living. All those years in school wasted riding on the fire trucks during Fire Prevention month all down the drain

I'm sure this will be hard for them to deal with.

IN OKLAHOMA

IN AN AREA CALLED TORNADO ALLEY

Sit the hell down, you bald freak. Everything is not about you. This is an area that gets hit with tornadoes every damn year. They know damn well how to do their jobs and don't need some bald freak summing up how they should "feel", "react", and when it'll finally "hit them" in the aftermath. Keep your sorry, uninformed opinions to yourself in San Diego. Stick to things you know, like Google. That's the only damn thing you're good at, and you even get that wrong 50% of the time.
