Pelosi: GOP ‘Makes So Much’ of Scandals Because Obama Is ‘Such a Great President’

(CNSNews.com) – House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Thursday that Republicans are using scandals coming out of the White House to undermine President Barack Obama out of "fear," because he is “such a great president.â€
“They make so much of these issues, because this president is such a great president,†Pelosi said during a press conference on Capitol Hill, ending a week filled with new revelations about scandals involving the terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) targeting conservative groups, and the Justice Department seizing phone records of reporters at the Associated Press.
“He’s a visionary—you’ve heard me say this so many times,†Pelosi said of Obama. “This is a great president. He’s a visionary. He has a knowledge of our country, concerns of the American people that give him judgment as to what plan we should have to go forward to strengthen the middle class.
“And he has an eloquence to convey that message,†she said. “They fear that, and so any issue that comes up, they will try to exploit.â€

And here I thought we were making so much of these issues because they strike at the very fabric of our system of government, the very PHILOSOPHY of the government, in that ALL CITIZENS are equal before the Law.
These scandals are because, at their heart, this admin believes "some animals are more equal than others".

Why do they always talk about "strengthening" the middle class? Why not talk about moving people from poverty to the middle class and people from the middle class to the wealthy class? Why don't they ever talk of improving people's status instead of just chaining them to it? I've never understood that.

Obama does want to increase the middle class. However, he wants to do it by taking wealth away so people move downward to the middle class.

Yeah. You're right. I've just never understood that thought process. Obviously it is to keep the civilians under the oppression of the government, but why regular Americans can't see that, is beyond me.

It's called a "Bell Curve." Someone is always on top, someone is always on bottom, and someone (the largest group) is always in the middle. But it's COMPARING where the "normal" lies compared to where it was at a particular time in the past.
Consider: What do "the poor" have in this country? Cell phones, cable television, healthcare, welfare, air conditioning, food stamps, etc. Now compare that to what the "average" person had a mere 50 years ago. Granted, cell phones, etc., did not exist, but the percentage of homes without electricity, phones, or what you and I would consider "basic necessities" was far higher than it is now. Better yet, compare the "poor" in this country to TRULY poor in other nations in this world.

I don't think he gives a crap about the middle class. The more people that lose their jobs and their homes, the more they will be looking for the gov. to help them with their hand out. In return many become wards of the state and will vote for the party that gives them free sh!t.
The rich will always be rich because they can adapt to taxes or whatever the government throws at them. The luxury tax bombed years ago because the rich quit buying expensive yachts, cars, furs and diamonds. Put many boat builders in the northeast out of business.
For a couple of hundred thousand dollars, an individual can buy citizenship in a Carribean country and renounce his US one in a short time frame. The IRS can not touch their income then. The rich have many avenues to avoid the gov. of raking them over the coals. Plus, Obama and the creeps in Congress talk a good game but they lie to protect their rich backers.
