Another Obama scandal may be brewing at the EPA

Obama scandals dominating the news about how the administration failed our Libyan delegation at Benghazi, about how the IRS targeted conservative groups, and about administration spying on the Associated Press, now have another contender.
It seems that the Environmental Protection Agency has been giving preferred treatment to environmental groups while denying similar treatment to watchdog groups.
More on the story may be read at the Washington Examiner here and at the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) here.
Benghazi, IRS, AP, and now EPA. I wonder if there will be more to come.

The EPA should be eliminated.

Agreed! The budget for the EPA could pay down the debt.

Plus they've burdened every citizen and company in this country with unenforceable laws and regulations.

Unfortunately, I think the problem will be compliance with the crazy quilt of regulations. They will enforce the shit out of them.

Unless and until someone with balls stands up and starts the movement to eliminate the EPA.

In testimony re; the IRS this A.M., it was brought out that one woman, a small business woman in TX, who applied for tax exempt status (Tea Party) was visited four times by the FBI domestic terrorism unit, her business and personal taxes were audited, she also received unscheduled audits by OSHA, the EPA, and the ATF twice.
So how come all these other agencies were intimidating her outside of the IRS? This thing is growing some very long legs.

That just gets worse and worse. Now, OSHA, EPA, and ATF were involved. I wonder what would of triggered that. :???: :wtf2: This looks really bad.

Meaning her one application for tax exempt status brought the attention of at least FOUR Executive Branch Departments (Treasury, DOJ, Commerce, and Labor). Sounds like collusion to intimidate to me.

Tonight on O'Reilly there was a business man who had donated a large amount to Romney's campaign. He and 7 others were put on a WH website that insinuated they were crooked. It was passed around the web, and his business was harassed. He lost a lot of customers and was audited by the IRS. The audit found nothing wrong - he was actually owed money, however, it cost him over $80k in legal and accounting fees, not to mention the attack on his good character and loss of business.
This too is an abuse of power.
We have a tyrant in the WH.

I really don't think that favoritism towards the EPA would be considered a scandal. They've never tried to hide that. Heck, I think they brag about it.

Your right, except now with the deliberate IRS scandal, no one had really paid much attention to the EPA. Just like the closing of Conservative car dealerships back in '09. People are now paying attention to the obvious pattern coming from this Administration, using the power of the government to attack their enemies.
