A 19-year-old suspected burglar continues to recover after Palm Bay police said he was beaten, kicked and shot with a stun gun by victims defending their residence as he and at least three other companions attempted to carry out a home invasion.

Michael Maxwell of Palm Bay was charged with one count of home invasion robbery with a firearm or deadly weapon and four counts of battery after police were called about 1 a.m. Wednesday to a home in the 700 block of Monterey Drive to investigate a disturbance.

Sounds like drugs were involved. Something tells me that whole story isn't being told yet.

For some reason, his hair in the mug shot reminds me of the picture of Will Pitt's "head." :whistling:

 :lol: :lol: :lol:  some  what funny, but I have to think of the victims that may find nothing funny about all this.

Just to imagine what the victims went through is horrible.    Were the victims anti gun people and decided to defend them selves with a stun gun that is only only usefull when an attacker is at arm length ??   Stun gun does not work when an attacker with a knife is coming at you from 5 feet away.

Too bad he's in custody. The residents should have done it correctly and put him down.
