It's a pretty shitty situation . . .
Venezuela hopes to wipe out toilet paper shortage by importing 50m rolls
Minister blames shortage on 'excessive demand caused by media campaign generated to disrupt the country'

First milk, butter, coffee and cornmeal ran short. Now Venezuela is running out of the most basic of necessities – toilet paper.
Blaming political opponents for the shortfall, as it does for other shortages, the government says it will import 50m rolls to boost supplies.
That was little comfort to consumers struggling to find toilet paper on Wednesday.
"This is the last straw," said Manuel Fagundes, a shopper hunting for tissue in Caracas. "I'm 71 years old and this is the first time I've seen this."
One supermarket visited by the Associated Press in the capital on Wednesday was out of toilet paper. Another had just received a fresh batch, and it quickly filled up with shoppers as the word spread.
Just do what the Muzzies do, and use your left hand . . . :o

Not for long. There are appx. 28 million people in Venezuela. If they go through it like my household does, it won't last them a week.

socialist policies cannot meet the needs of the people. Never ever.
Hugo needs to page Sheryl Crow. She can fix it.

Socialism has the answer.....kill more people thus using less TP.

Back it the end of 69 there was a shipping strike that caused horror to the people in Honolulu. We with commissary privileges had no problem but the civilians were up shits creek literally.
What a mess anyone with a base sticker was at risk of strangers offering over a dollar a roll to us if we would buy it for them. Darn they got mad when we refused, worse then when we refused to buy then cigarettes at the exchange.
You have no idea how worked up people get when any kind of military base is in the area that supplies the service men and and family's with something they the civilions desperately need.
I would say the toilet paper wars would bring a government to their knees.
