Holder: I can’t remember when I recused myself from the AP investigation, and I know I didn’t do it in writing

Sounds legit.
Twitter is blowing up over this right now. Stand by for updates.
Update: Gabe Malor asks an excellent question:
Did Holder just sort of … “drift away†from this whole mess after his recusal? Remember, this was no ordinary investigation. Yesterday Holder himself called the leak in the AP case one of the most serious, if not the most serious, he’d ever seen. He must have recognized instantly that there was a chance that reporters’ phone records would be subpoenaed to get to the bottom of it, which would be politically explosive for the White House. And yet he never formally notified anyone that he was backing away, huh? At this point, Obama should fire him even if he’s telling the truth. ...

Poor man's confused himself with all his lies.

How can he recuse himself by handing the job to someone who works for him? That makes absolutely no sense. To recuse himself shouldn't he have requested an independant investigation?

then it didn't happen

I hate these people.

I hate these people.
I hated all of them first.

and I know I didn’t do it in writing....well hell, didn't Obama tell them not to put anything in writing.
-
Hillary must be giving him lessons. "I don't remember"... "I don't recall"...

This is the same bunch of thugs that got a judge to release previously-sealed court records of Jack Ryan's divorce so they could use it in Obama's Illinois Senate campaign. They would sell their own mothers if they thought it would grant them another ounce of control over someone else.

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder today told the House Judiciary Committee he 'knew nothing' about his agency's possession of two months' worth of phone records from reporters and editors of the Associated Press.
Like White House Press Secretary Jay Carney a day earlier, he professed to know little or nothing about the case.

holder doesn't know, the White House doesn't know... Is anybody in the driver seat of this nation?
then there is this little gem from today's hearing..

Correct. It doesn't. He's a lying sack of shit. NOBODY in the AG's position would have willingly gone uninformed about a project with such obvious political baggage, he would certainly have both personally approved it and also demanded to be kept up-to-date even after turning it over to an immediate subordinate for actual management.
