I had my feelings hurt today
During the past year I lost a lot of weight. Mainly due to my contracting gallstones. That was followed by a liver infection. Then I was diagnosed with high blood pressure.
My poor health and need for survival and look after my health dictated I lose weight. Since my first diagnoses, I've come down at least 5 dress sizes. I've gone from a size 22 to a size 12/14. I'm all about healthy eating and exercise.
My center is in the process of moving to another building where we will all be housed. Instead of us leasing 4 buildings, we will now inhabit 2 buildings on this new property, and our agency owns both buildings
My program moved last week. This afternoon I ran into a manager whose program is due to move in next week. (our center has 8 programs and our new building has 8 floors. they are moving us in by the floor, and my program is on the 8th floor).
She is a deputy director in another program. She is of Italian ancestry and is very slim. Her program is to move in next week and she was over checking out the her new area.
As I was leaving today she kept yelling at me loudly to wait up for her as I was headed to the elevator.
She commented on my weight loss and wanted to know if I had had "my mouth wired in order to lose weight".
I can't tell you how much that offended me.
My retort was that I wasn't Chris Christie. I can't afford quick fixes. I've had several health problems which dictated that I take my health into my own hands. Also the death of my only child only added to my determination that I get my act together. I walk with a limp because I have to have surgery on my right leg, but that still does not deter me. I need to walk to clear my head and get my daughter's death out of my mind.
She looked like a complete fool when I was finished. But for some reason I still feel hurt.
Now I just want to punch her in the mouth.
So they don't want the death penalty for someone who imprisons, pregnates, and tortures three girls, but they do want violence against anyone who hurts their poor widdle FEELINGS. (http://www.democraticunderground.com/10022827673)

What does Italian ancestry have to do with the insult? Is she claiming all Italian women are bitches or something? Sounds like something I'd say to someone who is a known DUmmie just to get a rise out of them... and I'm not of Italian ancestry.

Good grief. Why not take the 'high road' and just smile and say, "It was good old fashioned will power with a little kick in the hiney by my doctor." And then thank the person for noticing the progress or difference.

I doubt the inquisitive woman felt like a fool as the DUmmie clop-slided away. I imagine she was saying to herself, "Mama Mia! What a bitter nasty bitch!".

I will never get why they have to make crap up so as to put themselves into some news story of the day...there has to be some identified mental defect that causes this.

It would have been better to say, "Goodness, but you've lost a lot of weight. You must have been deathly ill."

So she went from "OMG it's coming at me" to merely fat and a woman paid her a compliment by remarking on how quickly it happened? Lord these are the thinnest skinned assholes around.
And what is with all the center and program BS? I take this to mean she is on total government assistance and probably costs working people six grand plus a month.
Again gives me reinforcement of the typical DUchebag: self-righteous loser, fat, lazy, on government assistance, and easily butt hurt.

She sounds cranky because she's hungry. She should go out and eat a double meat BLT with extra mayo, some onion rings and a bacon milkshake.
That should make her feel a lot better. :-)

With this in this country.
Just watch for medication side effects.
Nutcase nadin, who has the physique of a pumpkin on a pair of popsicle sticks, claims to be at her ideal weight.
It's unlikely that DUmmy CatWoman, at her most zeppelinesque, was more morbidly obese than the crazy bald dwarf.

For a while now friends that I haven't seen in a long time have said I lost weight and how good I looked. After hitting over 230+ and I'm 6'1" tall I just happened to be lucky to have worked as a security guard for the past 7 years till recently and I walked a lot at my job. Some of it also involved working outside in the summer heat at the Airport in Omaha without much shade and no AC unless I wanted to run my AC in my car. I never took offense just never paid much attention to the weight loss except when I noticed I needed new clothes. Some people just want to be a victim and I'm not going to be one.
