What is the point of having health insurance when YOU have to pay for all the services anyway?
$3000.00 out of pocket for a *******ed knee operation that's needed if I want to walk normally again.
I'm so pissed right now that I was asked to sit for 15 minutes before they do the EKG.
**** this shit.
Anyone know if reimbursement of some sort is available through my home state?
Thank you in advance.

Welcome to reality, DUmmie. And that's just mild. It's only going to get worse.

$3,000?!? Bitch, that can't possibly be more than 10% of the bill for the thing, and probably a damn' sight less. Thanks to the miracle of Obamacare, there're people paying that much in three months just for coverage without even making a damn' claim!

I always enjoy Devilgrll's posts. I enjoy watching her throw a hissyfit whenever she doesn't get her way.
Warms my heart.

I had an ACL in 96 and it cost me about $3000 with the insurance I had at the time. I also bought a house then for $220,000 that now would sell for $6000,000. Sounds like a good deal to me almost 20 years later. I would hate to equate that to a can of beans or a car.

My heart pumps piss for you.

DUmmy devilgrrl apparently doesn't understand the meaning of "copay" and "deductible", both of which were clearly defined in her policy.
Too bad for DUmmy devilgrrl.
I hope she's crippled up like DUmmy cali, or covered with Bennyboy's "squeamish carcinoma".
On the other hand, the whole purpose of her stupid post may just have been to brag about having insurance.

What's the point of having car insurance if you have to pay $3,000 yourself to have the transmission fixed if you want to drive again?
-
No rainbow pony for you, devilgrrl. At least you are getting this now, after 2014 you will likely wait 6 years to get your operation.
You can't blame republicans for this. Not a single republican voted for obamacare.

Why doesn't she just make a payment arrangement or contact Beth for a fund raiser?

I seem to recall from photo threads gone by that in addition to being a nasty, unhappy woman, she is also as ugly as a mule's ass.

My knees are crap and I would definitely pay the $3,000 out of pocket if it made my knees not be so painful most days. It's $3,000, you whiny bitch. I'm sure you paid more than that for your POS car.

:lmao:
I had quite the same reaction. I don't think I've heard that expression before. Lol.

I've seen one picture, and I would agree with your assessment. Her meanness radiates to her face and general disposition.

We have some what the same problem. Hubby with insurance had a Colostomy check. Hospital billed us $1,000. Strange, at least 20 other older workers with insurance were not even billed a co pay for the procedure in the last 10 years up to today. This is to include me who was never charged.
For the last 12 months we have had everyone from HR at work to both of us calling the insurance company and the hospital to find out why with insurance We had to pay this amount and others didn't.
So when we got the bill we worked out a payment plan to the hospital to keep our credit up while figuring sooner or later the problem would be resolved. We knew we would get our money back but so far no one knows why we have to pay. The hospital says it is our problem with the insurance company, the insurance company says the bill was paid, the Hospital says it was not paid.
Gives me the Willey's to think about how OBAMA CARE will be even worse then this.

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius has gone, hat in hand, to health industry officials, asking them to make large financial donations to help with the effort to implement President Obama’s landmark health-care law, two people familiar with the outreach said.
WTF
Maybe that's why devilgrrl has to pay..........passing on the donations :lmao:
