Title: "Bad Influence" Babysitting
Post by: Big Dog on May 10, 2013, 10:24:17 AM: Velvet and I are going to watch Red's 5 year old grandson this evening. Red's daughter and her husband are going to Kansas City for a Royals game. I set Red up to go to the NRA Women and Guns day tomorrow at a range north of Manhattan, so she is going to stay tonight at her sister's in Manhattan. So, I volunteered to watch Dennis the Menace until his parents get back from the game.

I think I'm ready. I kid-proofed the house, and turned my couch into a kid's nest.

Healthy food: Hot dogs and chips, root beer floats.
Healthy entertainment: Godzilla movies.

It's gonna be interesting.

I think Velvet would have gladly gone home with him. They had a great time.

Dennis the Menace went 100 miles an hour until about 8 o'clock, when he fell asleep on the couch before the end of Godzilla vs. Megalon. It was like flipping a light switch. Velvet camped out in front of the couch. I celebrated by having a second root beer float.

His folks picked him up a little after midnight.

I'll have that kid smoking cigars and ogling boobiez before they know it!
