Men needing to fill their Viagra prescriptions will no longer have to go through the potentially embarrassing step of handing over their drug orders to a pharmacist.
In a pharmaceutical industry first, Pfizer (PFE -0.83%) is going to sell its popular erectile dysfunction pill directly to patients through its website, according to the Associated Press.
Patients will still need a prescription, but they can sidestep the pharmacist by filling the orders at viagra.com. To convince consumers to take up the offer, Pfizer is adding an enticement: three free pills with the first order and 30% off the second. That's not peanuts, either, since the pills cost $25 each.

Morons. The only reason they are doing this is because they are getting their asses kicked by the competition. Viagra and just about any other drug you can imagine is available on-line and has been for a very long time and all WITHOUT a prescription and a hell of a lot cheaper than $25.00 a pill.
The on-line pill business is booming and the Fed's have no idea how to deal with it, as usual they are clueless. people are going to get drugs whether they be prescription or illegal. The war on drugs is one of the biggest power grabs ever perpetrated on the American people right up there with the Patriot act.

Strange how these personal items get us all embarrassed. Fortunately Hubby had 4 older sisters that bribed him to go in an emergency to the drug store and buy their Tampax. And with all those females in the house he was trained at birth to NEVER leave the toilet seat up.
At one time it was embarrassing to head for the drug store a week before Hubby came home after a long cruise and buy a BIG BOX of rubbers. This never bothered the men, they just marched in and after 9 months at sea would buy a full case of them with a big smile on their face.
So, whats with men embarrassed to buy Viagra, lots of uses for it other then disfunction. Darn just go to the base hospital or the local drug store and buy the darn things and do it with a big smile on your face.

Many of the online drug companies and unlicensed mail order companies are selling fake medication. Talked about getting stiffed.
In NV the pharmacy board actually inspected several Canadian pharmacies. http://dhhs.nv.gov/CHA_CP_Index.htm They often found just mail forwarding services, but did come up with a list of safe providers. Drugs from Canada are not as popular as they once were. I would never trust any of the online pharmacies.
But the trade-off isn’t worth it. The medications may not be medications at all, or they may be counterfeit. Others may bear some resemblance to the real drugs, but still come with high risks. These medications may be too strong or too weak, expired, contain dangerous ingredients, lack approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, made without using safe standards, dangerous to use with other medicines or products, or labeled, stored and shipped incorrectly

Placebo effect, give some an aspirin and tell them it is speed and their body's react to what the brain is telling it to do and what the mind expects.
We know that sex comes from some function of the brain, many men with a problem find if they Think the pill will solve their problem, the Placebo does work. Much like faith healing, if one believes then no doctor can explain how some people survive Cancer or where the disease has gone.
