Congressional Democrats on Sunday distanced themselves from the Obama administration’s explanation of the Benghazi, Libya, attacks in the immediate aftermath of the fatal strikes, amid mounting evidence that suggests the information was revised to intentionally mislead Americans.
The original explanation of the Sept. 11, 2012, attacks on the U.S. outpost in Benghazi, Libya, was written by CIA officials, then revised by State Department and White House officials, according to news reports and witness testimony made available to Fox News.
Removed from the CIA's so-called talking points were references to “Islamic extremists†and Al Qaeda in Libya And five days later, Susan Rice, U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, made the Sunday talk show rounds to say the attacks were, in fact, “demonstrations†sparked by protests in Egypt over an anti-Islamic video on YouTube.
However, the video is never mentioned in the numerous talking-points drafts, according to a Weekly Standard story last week, based in part on a 43-page House report and records of official emails.
“Well, it was scrubbed,†Massachusetts Democratic Rep. Steve Lynch told “Fox News Sunday.†“It was totally inaccurate. There's no excuse for that. It was false information.
Lynch also acknowledged the talking points were likely revised to reflect President Obama’s decry – with his re-election bid in the balance -- that “Al Qaeda is on the run.â€

CBS released information on the Benghazi 9-11 massacre today that could potentially bring down the Obama Administration.
Buried in their report (down in paragraph eight) CBS reported, “Throughout the night, sources say Americans on the ground in Libya at times felt helpless and abandoned… But they were told immediate help wasn’t available.†But, counterterrorism sources and internal emails reviewed by CBS News express frustration that key responders were ready to deploy, but were not called upon to help. CBS reported:

“We relied on Washington for dispassionate assessment,†one eyewitness told CBS News. “Instead, they [Washington officials] were asking us what help we needed. We answered: ‘Send reinforcements!’ â€
But they were told immediate help wasn’t available.
Embassy personnel say they repeatedly asked the Defense Attache on site in Tripoli for military assistance.
“Isn’t there anything available?†one Embassy official says he asked. “But the answer was ‘no.’â€
“What about Aviano?†the official pressed, referencing the NATO air base with US assets in northeastern Italy. “No,†was the answer.
Two of the four Americans killed that night died hours after the first attack began…
…Counterterrorism sources and internal emails reviewed by CBS News express frustration that key responders were ready to deploy, but were not called upon to help in the attack. National Security Council Spokesman Tommy Vietor told CBS News the CSG was not needed.

Sharryl Atkisson really deserves a Pulitzer for her work. As do Katherine Herridge and Jennifer Griffin. The proverbial sh!t is going to hit the fan in Issa's hearings on Wednesday. Several of the Sunday shows had stories on this today, shockingly. And the only DU post was about how Chris Wallace interrupted Rep. Lynch. They are in for a shock.

‘U.S. Marine Security Guards serve at the U.S. Embassy in Bridgetown, and at other diplomatic missions around the world, to protect and safeguard American diplomacy,’ Rebecca Ross, the U.S. Embassy to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean Counselor for Public Affairs, said in a statement to CNSNews.com.
‘On September 11, 2012, our U.S. Marine Security Detachment carried out its regular duties which include providing internal security, preventing the compromise of classified information and equipment, and providing protection for U.S. citizens and property located within official U.S. facilities,’ Ross said.
On August 16, less than a month before the terrorists struck the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, the U.S. Marine Security Guard Force in Barbados led a physical fitness test for young athletes.

We lost our President due to a freaking brake in that was very badly handled. No lives were lost in the break in, had it not been for the press, this would have been a 3 day story.
I cannot wait to see where this Libya thing that Hillery states " that was past, who cares now", goes.
If it goes anywhere who will be relieved of Comand in the military, who dies in a car or plane crash or who has a heart attack.
If I were Hillery I would up security around myself and fall down again and go into another health risk to testify or be questioned. Take a tip from Jodi Arias and say she went into a fog and cannot remember a darn thing.
I believe Hillery holds the KEY to the going ops that dreadfull week and can bring down Obama in a wink and a nod and shatter half the Democratic party with her knowledge.

Will anything happen to Obama? Probably not. If anything, Clinton will take the fall, knowing her chances at 2016 are slim at best now anyway.
However, the Obama legacy takes another hint. Mark my words, children and grandchildren of mine--history will not look kindly upon the Obama years.

The deputy of slain U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens has told congressional investigators that a team of Special Forces prepared to fly from Tripoli to Benghazi during the Sept. 11, 2012 attacks was forbidden from doing so by U.S. Special Operations Command South Africa.
The account from Gregory Hicks is in stark contrast to assertions from the Obama administration, which insisted that nobody was ever told to stand down and that all available resources were utilized. Hicks gave private testimony to congressional investigators last month in advance of his upcoming appearance at a congressional hearing Wednesday.
According to excerpts released Monday, Hicks told investigators that SOCAFRICA commander Lt. Col. Gibson and his team were on their way to board a C-130 from Tripoli for Benghazi prior to an attack on a second U.S. compound "when [Col. Gibson] got a phone call from SOCAFRICA which said, 'you can't go now, you don't have the authority to go now.' And so they missed the flight ... They were told not to board the flight, so they missed it."

Bottom line, Obama will come out clean. He was misinformed will probably be the line. Hillary, she'll probably land on her feet to. There will be firings of minor officials, hell, some innocent smuck may even go to jail. And the MSM will still be in Obama's pocket. It seems that they were leaving Tripoli going to Benghazi, last I checked no international border was being crossed as they're both in Libya.
