Title: Ammo Box?
Post by: rich_t on May 04, 2013, 05:15:40 PM
The soap box isn't working.

The voting box isn't working.

What's the next choice?

Our Founders Declared Independence over lessor transgressions than we are now living under.

Do not understand all this as I feel ammo has to be stored safely out of the range of any accidents.

Fire, earthquake or tornado, Ammo is nothing to fool with.   Never know what will set it off, one has to be all so careful with this stuff, sub standard Ammo can chemically change in time to some really nasty stuff.

Vesta, I've been around guns and ammunition all my life. I've been shot at, had one held pressed into my back during an armed robbery, and taken a life with one in Laos.

When you get into your auto, you're sitting on top of gallons of gasoline with more explosive energy than dynamite. Think about it, and don't live in perpetual fear.

I don't live in fear of anything, just take precautions.    People do have so called freak accidents that can not be anticipated but we also have smoke detectors, keep chemicals in a safe place, own gun safes, have a lock box for medication--something poor old Rose Kennedy should have had---wear a life vest when kayaking and on and on.   Far as gas tanks I drove a Corvair for years never gave a thought to riding on back of sons motorcycle, store gas in cans in an outbuilding ,not in the cellar.
