10. That sounds very Republican, somehow.
The inventing of incidents that support their PR efforts when they don't happen of their own accord. I mean, it's Breitbart, isn't it? The riot in Florida in 2000? The fake scientific studies? And who can forget the Yellow Cake? Etc.
If she's a Dem, I would not know whether to praise her for learning from her enemies or condemn her for stooping to their level.[/]
:thatsright: Yes, we see so many stories about RW-ers making up fake stories... ****ing DUmbasses.

Lawyer threatens suit over canceled Ayers speech
Source: AP
LARAMIE, Wyo. — A Denver lawyer says he'll sue the University of Wyoming unless it lets former 1960s radical TERRORIST William Ayers speak on campus.
David Lane sent the school a letter Monday saying he had been retained by student Meg Lanker. He contends the university violated the First Amendment when it canceled a speech Ayers was scheduled to give in March.
He gave the university until noon Wednesday to respond.
A university spokesman didn't immediately return messages left after business hours Monday seeking comment.
Lane previously represented former University of Colorado professor Ward Churchill, [another commie terrorist --Sgt SB] who was dismissed for alleged plagiarism and research misconduct following criticism of an essay in which he compared some 9/11 victims to a Nazi.

4. Ayers, not Sarah Palin, should probably speak at CSU Stanislaus.
As long as speakers are not advocating racism/violence against others/stupidity, they should be allowed to speak at public universities.
Sarah Palin speaking in metaphors is cause for banning but a communist terrorist that has actually committed acts of terrorism and murdered several people is free to speak as long as he doesn't actually talk about the violence he has already employed.

6. Here is why we continue to lose to the fascists
From the HufPo piece
What makes education in a democracy, at least theoretically, distinct is a commitment to a particularly precious and fragile ideal: every human being is of infinite and incalculable value, each a unique intellectual, emotional, physical, spiritual, and creative force. Every human being is born free and equal in dignity and rights; each is endowed with reason and conscience, and deserves, then, a sense of solidarity, brotherhood and sisterhood, recognition and respect.
The wingers don't believe this. Until we start to treat them with the disdain with which they view us, they will continue to defeat us in the media, and at the ballot.
This is war, people. We need to either fight them, or get used to living in their fascist world.
Don't lecture us about infinite human value **** stick!
HE ****ING MURDERED PEOPLE!

1981 “Guilty as hel*. Free as a bird. America is a great country,†Ayers said when interviewed by David Horowitz.
September 11, 2001 “I don’t regret setting bombs. I feel we didn’t do enough.†Ayers is quoted in NYT article

8. Immaterial to the current setting
UW is being terrorized by right-wing donors and media, and when you give in to terrorists then you lose.
BTW quoting Horowitz reduces your credibility to zero

Seems as if I saw a movie preview last night about the Weather Underground. It said it was a Robert Redford movie. Wasn't really paying attention though. Did anyone else see this?
Edited to add:
I found the IMDB page. The movie is called "The Company You Keep"

The post was made April 24 to the UW Crushes page on Facebook.
It described Lanker-Simons as “that chick that runs her liberal mouth all the time and doesn’t care who knows it.â€
The post also referenced a graphic, sexual act against the woman.
“One night with me and shes gonna be a good Republican (expletive),†the post read.
The citation followed a police interview and a search of her computer equipment pursuant to a warrant, UW reported.
UW Police “obtained substantial evidence verifying that the offending Facebook post came from Lanker-Simons’ computer
“I will tell you, I believe Meg is innocent of this outrage,†said Kandt, adding that the citation is a “classic case of blaming the victim.â€
Kandt said she spoke with Lanker-Simons following the citation’s issuance.
UW Police, Kandt said, “have bullied her and they have pulled a bluff.â€
“This is the worst episode of ‘Law & Order’ you can imagine,†Kandt said.
She added, “I mean, my God, who would do this to herself?†:rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:
Zacharias said she believes university leaders and police are trying to “pin†the post on Lanker-Simons because “Meg is the one who makes them look bad when they’re behaving badly.â€
:facepalm2:
Lanker-Simons was the plaintiff in a successful 2010 lawsuit against UW.
The school attempted to prevent Bill Ayers, co-founder of the radical 1960s group, the Weather Underground, from speaking on campus.
A federal judge ruled the university could not deny Ayers from appearing.

It's especially made for Nadin and her fellow DUmmies.......from one of the reviews.
Unfortunately, we live in a time when audiences have been pampered into having someone else do the thinking for them or because of limited attentions spans offer only simple, short story arcs festooned with over-the-top green-screen pyrotechnics and gratuitous sex.

As long as speakers are not advocating racism/violence against others/stupidity, they should be allowed to speak at public universities.
So, Glen Beck, Sarah Palin, or Ann Coulter can speak at any University without ANY protest that would stop them, right? RIGHT?
-
Wow....she really does put the Nazi in the name feminazi.
What's with these moonbats that they have to make up crap to fit their hate agendas?

Just add this to the long disgraceful list of fake hate crimes against Liberals.
BTW anyone claimed Brietbart's $100K yet for providing proof that Emanuel Cleaver was spit on?

Police say woman made up story of attack at Campus Lodge apartments
A woman who told authorities that she had been attacked in the Campus Lodge apartment complex parking lot last week now has said she made it all up, according to Gainesville police.
Tanya Borachi, 22, recanted her story on Wednesday and told Gainesville Police Department detectives she fabricated the story “as a lesson to women in the area that an attack could happen to them,†according to a report.
Borachi now faces a charge of filing a false police report, a first-degree misdemeanor, according to GPD spokesman Officer Ben Tobias.
Police initially identified Borachi as a University of Florida student, but Tobias said Thursday she has not been enrolled at UF for about a year, according to the report.

Has anyone here noticed that whenever you have a woman(?) with a hyphenated last name (Roddam-Clinton, Lanker-Simons, etc.), every one of them is a screaming, flaming, radical, commie, feminazi liberal.
May as well have a sign around their necks saying: "Hey, I'm a DUmbass!"
On the back, it could say: "I'm also an ugly, ball-breaking, man-hating lesbian."
