DUmmy Omaha Steve, the neckbearded weeper, will never match Pam Dawson for casually bragging about luxuries.
Pam could mention a new Glock or cruise tickets as nonchalantly as if talkiing about a pizza order.
The neckbeard, on the other hand, is really awkward about it. Remember "Haven't been online much today, spent a lot of time watching our new wide screen HD-TV" ?
Today, it's a new laptop, but the intent is the same: "Eat your heart out, DUmmies!"

My first impression of Windows 8
It will take some getting used to since we don't have a smart phone etc. I've been on our new ultra book about an hour. How is anyone else doing?

The only reason The Weeper got an external mouse and keyboard is because his fingers are too fat to properly utilize the touch screen.

39. Sticking with WindowsXP until my last computer takes it last gasp.
I am not about to replace all my video/graphics programs and hardware that I already know won't work with Windows 8.
But as much as I hate Microsoft I hate Apple worse.
Man, there are some bitter clingers in that thread.

Good for you, tard. You got Windows 8. :rotf:

Was it built by a union there Stevie? Last I heard The collective known as the Borg.......ooops Microsoft wasn't on the DUmmies list of favorites.

Smart choice. It will prevent you from smearing Cheeto residue and mini-taco grease all over the screen.

I have windows 8........and hate it. :censored:

I hear Windows 8 sucks. I saw a pic of a sign in a shop window, "Downgrade to Windows 7, $100."
I don't want anything to do with a touch screen. Filthy.

I am always cleaning the screen on my Galaxy S3 & Kindle Fire. Finger prints drive me insane. I really need to buy a screen protector.

My second laptop has Vista and my wife uses it. She complains about it all the time. Of course it doesn't help that she loads tons of crappy programs on to it and has no idea what she's doing. It is incompatible with many of the programs as well.
Dat porn!!
Seriously though, Windows 8 wasn't bad once I got used to it. I did have to install start8 from Stardock because I missed the start menu.

Poor dear long-suffering Marta must've gotten a raise or a bonus or something, as when the big guy had been transfered from the waterworks to the police department, rather than being given a ticket for the disability gravy train as he'd hoped, he took a cut in pay.
Either that, or the big guy's maxing out his credit card. He's done that before.

I think he's keeping all of the loose change he finds when he cleans out the police cars.

Unfortunately, you have to constantly clean screen protectors, too!

Not cool.
I need to invite some kind of screen that is finger print resistant.

90% of our computer inventory at work is laptops. The best thing I've found for cleaning screens is lens cleaner you can get at any electronics or optometrist store and a microfiber cloth.
