This coming Tuesday, April 30, 3:30 p.m. central time, 2:30 p.m. mountain time, marks the eighth anniversary of the scam that rocked the internet.  (That was the exact minute poor stupid Beth, then sfexpat2000 and later EFerrari, officially launched her scam on Skins's island.)

Not even the Bostonian Drunkard's Fitzmas was as big as the Scamdal.  It rocked and rolled the whole entire internet from that afternoon until it finally withered away sometime in September of 2005.

It was the Greatest Discombobulation, ever, on Skins's island.

There's never been a coherent overview, much less a history, of the Scamdal, mostly because poor stupid Beth is the only person who knows what really happened, and with her ever-advancing arteriosclerosis, it's being lost to history.

I don't mean to sound like a grouch, but don't ask franksolich what happened, because I was in the center of the maelstrum, trying to make sense of it, and failing.

I must say that one of the most "fun" things about poor stupid Beth's scam was the opportunity for me to be like cousin nadin, and report on the crunchy stuff.

This was done using DUmmie ALERT!s on freerepublic; they were "breaking announcements" interrupting P-J Comix's DUmmie FUnnies, alerting decent and civilized people to rush over to Skins's island to see the newest lies and fabrications.

There were hundreds of DUmmie ALERT!s, and I wish I'd saved them, but I didn't excepting this one, but it gives one a good idea.

Thank you, Frank! I wasn't around when this took place, and I've wanted to know the whole story (or at least get it at one time instead of bits and pieces).

It was a situation unlike any other.

As the round red sodomite allegedly lay in intensive care, having just had nearly all his innards allegedly excised, incised, folded, spindled, stapled and mutilated, no less than a hundred separate DUmp posts began, "I just got off the phone with Andy".

It was hilarious, right up to the moment when coach finally put the bastard on alleged ice.

And then the laughs just kept on coming, as various DUmmies wailed over the alleged fate of a sodomite they'd never met, and others swore bloody revenge for his alleged death.

It can't happen again. In 2005 the DUmp had its hatred for President Bush acting as a binder allowing them to pursue a topic like the Andyscam as a unifed blob of lunacy.

Today, the lunacy is just as strong, but it flies off in every direction, with countless DUmmy cliques hating one another as much as they hate normal civilized people.

As nice as it would be, we can't have an Andyscam in 2013.

Do not underestimate the dummies there GB. Just when I think I have seen it all, they never fail to amaze me.   :cheersmate: :cheersmate:

Yeah, that.  And with the red round one reportedly at the exact same time in different locations too, each far apart from all the other locations.  Northernmost New Jersey, easternmost Virginia, northern Ohio, southern Tennessee, &c., &c., &c.  All at the exact same time.  Talk about getting around.  And in seconds.

Yeah, that too.  It's just really weird how the primitives latched onto a nonentity who was around Skins's island for eight months, and all he ever did was whine for money.

They made a hero out of this guy?

And look how they trashed a prominent election-reform activist, who tried to do something for them.

That was eight years ago the late red round one left this Mortal Coil.

The primitives have been doing a pretty good job offing themselves--the consequences of the too-easy, sedate, mooching, bad-attituded, life--although I wish the attrition were much faster.

Never say never. Of course Scamdy occurred during Bush era as they had someone to hate unlike right now. You never know as DUmmies are a volatile bunch that take up causes.
