Title: To DU: I was wrong about Boston terror
Post by: Big Dog on April 20, 2013, 08:00:41 AM
To the lurking DUmmies:

I was wrong about the Boston terror.

I figured it was a single Boston resident.  A man who needed to be the center of attention, and who has recently found himself playing second fiddle in his family life. A man who used to "be somebody"  but is now an object of scorn even among the people who provide his validation. I figured it was a man who needed to be relevant- the kind of man who thinks his every word is a pearl from heaven, who inserts periods after. every. word. for emphasis. A man with an English name, living in an Irish city (but not a native of that city), who would set up an IRA-style terror attack just to get his homies to say, "I hope <name redacted>* is OK."

It made perfect sense.

It was a complete surprise to me that the terrorists were two Muslim males less then 30 years of age; one of whom had recently spent six months in a part of the world known for Islamic terrorism, and who was cleared by Holder's FBI when he returned to the US; the other a pot smoking Obama's child who wore a baseball cap backwards. No one could have seen that coming, really.

So, in conclusion, I admit to being the worst criminal profiler ever. Mea culpa.

*Name redacted to deny <name redacted> any undeserved recognition. It should be noted that there were no DU posts expressing concern for the well-being of <name redacted>. I applaud DU on its restraint .

Good one.

In fact, a great one!
