CISPA passes U.S. House: Death of the Fourth Amendment?
http://www.zdnet.com/cispa-passes-u-s-house-death-of-the-fourth-amendment-7000014205/
The controversial Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CISPA) just passed the U.S. House, and will now head to the upper Senate chamber for further deliberation.
Rinse and repeat. This isn't the first time that this has happened, but it still poses a major threat to Fourth Amendment rights, according to civil liberties campaigners.

I remember the internet singing praises about the death of SOPA, but CISPA slipped on by unnoticed practically.
Add-on
This is why I think that internet activism is stupid. It doesn't accomplish anything. There's a reason we have equal rights for blacks. They actually did something by boycotting public transit, marching, and actually protesting. They didn't change their facebook profile pictures to a giant red equal sign or something stupid like that. Freaking idiots.

Looks like it's DOA in the Senate. Probably the only sane thing Harry Reid has done since 2007.

Hmmm...Harry Reid never does anything sane. Why wouldn't he want to get it passed?
