Not to politicize unduly... but this could be pretty bad for Guns
If these fellows have really only been in the USA a year (as reported, but that has become a very uncertain thing), they got those guns they were shooting somewhere.
If you see what I mean.
Come to America, buy guns, shoot people... it's a scenario the NRA has probably been dreading for a while now.
(That doesn't mean that a foreign-based terror attack wouldn't be a nightmare for a zilllion other reasons.)
A couple disagree then off to the races.

3. yup
Probably bought the guns at a gun show or online
Can't wait till the info spreads and the backlash begins against those disgusting human beings who voted against background checks

8. Now just imagine a whole neighborhood
Armed with guns looking for the criminals. I hope this does make guns look worse to more people.

9. OK, what about the "ban pressure cookers" argument?
Somebody who's willing to make a bomb out of a pressure cooker is also probably willing to buy a gun on the black market, n'est-ce pas?

10. Well, let's see...
It's easier to keep tabs on a small, nervous coterie of black marketeers than a massive network of legal unregulated gun sellers.
Pressure cooker bombs are heavy AND SEEM TO KILL FEWER HUMANS THAN SEMI-AUTOMATICS WITH 30 TO 100 ROUND CLIPS.
They killed the cop WITH A GUN.
NO GUN SELLER STOPPED THEM. Nor has any armed civilian been of any use whatsoever.
The NRA actively aids and abets terrorism against the American people.
The NRA actively aids and abets the mass murder of American children.
The US Congress actively aids and abets the NRA.

11. well said
As evidenced by recent events, guns are much more deadly then bombs
let the psychos build their bombs, maybe they'll even blow themselves up in the process
NRA = domestic terrorism

12. NRA gives not one **** who ends up with a gun, as long as guns are sold...
How does one not grow to despise such miserable shit bags?

I've bought guns online and at gun shows and I've had to go through a background check for every one. These idiots have no idea what they're talking about.
The only gun I've ever bought without a check was the K98k that I bought from one of my reenacting buddies.

Interesting that a couple of them do spot the actual logical position...albeit twisted through the prism of DUmmitude.
Folk who want to get guns will be able to get guns - that much is abundantly clear and shown by reference to every country around the world...there is no gun-free country ANYWHERE, there are a few countries where guns are limited and in those cases they are limited to military, police, and criminals. So, the wrong people (criminals) will always have guns...the question is merely whether other people will have them as well...people who could be of use when the wrong people try to use them.

What the primitives don't realize (or don't want to think about) is I could go to Chicago, NYC or DC and buy a handgun on the street right now with no questions asked. Could probably get any type and size of magazine and plenty of rounds. All without a background check or visiting a gun show. Most of the gun murders are committed with guns that were acquired that way.
Easier than attempting to get one the legal way and it is not traceable back to me. Not sure what laws about background checks and gun/magazine bans would stop that.

Precisely.
They don't realise it, even though they've been told it enough times.

They aren't called DUmmies for nothing.

It's funny to watch them talk themselves into something. Then feed each other with it. Not only is it Groupthink, it's deluded as well.

They've been here for 10 years.

I don't think so.
A lot of Americans are watching the news, where citizens have been told to hide in their homes and not look out the window while the government hunts for this asshole.
Some of those viewers are asking themselves, "What would I do if that happened in my city, if that man was in my neighborhood? What if he came to my house?"
The most logical reply is, "I would want the means to defend myself and my family."
Don't look for a slowdown on firearms sales anytime soon.

That "Unregulated gun dealers" was a hoot, too. Truly the DU is the Voice of Ignorance.

There you go using reason and logic again.
For lurking DUchebags, this is why we can mole and you cannot.
