The Ricin Was Sent To Senator Roger Wicker (R)
One of the last Republicans to cast a vote to let gun control debate move forward.

1. Sent by a far-right idiot.

2. They know D's are voting for it, perhaps a RWer feeling betrayed by his representative?
For voting WITH Dems.

4. Possibly so.
This flat out infuriates me. I oppose most new gun control measures (although not this one, as it happens...expanded background checks are a good idea), but this is no way to advance a political opinion. I consider violent interference with the democratic process to be treason. I hope this SOB gets caught and chucked into prison to rot.

5. The rabid rifle men make their last stand at destroying representative government.
They'd never consider money paid to the Koches and other corporates to be as hard for them to pay as to the dreaded IRS. They are so effing clueless.
The most effective way to restrict democracy is to transfer decision-making from the public arena to unaccountable institutions: kings and princes, priestly castes, military juntas, party dictatorships, or modern corporations.

6. The Koch Brothers are reaping a lot of reward
now they have people targeting any R that dares voter against them.
Just when you thought insanity had a bottom.

That article says the guy in custody is Kenneth Curtis. I kept thinking that name sounded familiar. Then it dawned on me. Festus from Gunsmoke was Ken Curtis.

Odd.
Nothing in the article mentions any political leanings.
Naturally, DUmpmonkeys never let that influence their rants.
-
Kenneth Curtis turns up some interesting stuff on Google. The DNC chairman during the Carter and Reagan administrations and former governor of Maine had the same name.

He's retired. He would have plenty of time.
Besides, who uses the post office anymore?

The media once again got the initial report wrong. Name is Paul Kevin Curtis:
Paul Kevin Curtis identified by FBI as suspect who sent ricin letters to Barack Obama, Sen. Roger Wicker (http://newyork.newsday.com/news/nation/paul-kevin-curtis-identified-by-fbi-as-suspect-who-sent-ricin-letters-to-barack-obama-sen-roger-wicker-1.5089098)

And I'm seeing that he may be a Democrat...

No political leanings/affiliations means a democrat.

I thought of you when I read that earlier, and debated posting on your FB. I opted for discretion. :-)
