The altercation between Hispanic and African-American inmates erupted shortly after noon local time in a third-floor recreation area inside Tower One of the Twin Towers Correctional Facility, said Steve Whitmore, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, which runs the jail.
Racial tensions between Blacks and Hispanics is a lot worse than Blacks and Whites.

Sounds to me like the prisoners just all earned lockdown for a month. They don't need or deserve a 'recreation area if they are going to do stuff like that. Oh, wait... This is a California jail.
Good job DUches. Your policies of 'tolerance and understanding' and treating the criminal like the victim are paying off now.

Racial tensions between Blacks and Hispanics is a lot worse than Blacks and Whites.
Oh yeah. It's really bad in the high schools. They seem to hate each other.

The first group is mad at the second group because the second group is here illegally doing the jobs the first group refuses to do so and that makes the firtst group mad because they can't get a job that they refuse to do.

Just the tip of the the ice berg Johnny. More important then money is sex.
The Latino woman want to marry Americans to get family into the country and secure anchor baby's.
This shrinks the pool of breeders for the Latinos and the Black and White woman who are American that will date or marry them are few and far between.
Actually sex wars are common, Latino men will go after the family of an American if they look crossed eyed at a young Latino girl or woman.
Black men will protect their woman and go after any Latino that gives them any problems.
It does not help that the Latino family's encourage their females to date Americans of ANY race to get a foot hold in America. Few illegal woman want to marry or have a child by another illegal male when chances are that the male may be deported and them left to raise the child[ren] by herself.
Then there are the Drugs, oh my, the Latinos will use Blacks as mules and when they are caught be the first to turn States Wittiness against them.
Personally the hardest working men I ever worked with were Black. The Latino Men put their woman to work and stayed on the streets.
Mind you this is just my impression from working side by side with others of different races and country's then my own for 40+ years.
Met good people of all races and some really bad ones from my own race.
