Fun at the gym today with all the FoxNews watchers.
I work out with a trainer and a group once a week. I exchange services with the trainer because otherwise I couldn't afford her. However, every week I have to listen to Fox Noise and Rush Limbug talking points from the rich bitches in the group and even though I can usually hold my own, it's really frustrating being the only liberal and poor person. However, Thom Hartmann came up with something on his show yesterday. Dress those people up mentally in funny costumes and it goes down better.
So today every time I had to hear something stupid, I mentally pictured her with a dunce cap and a T-Shirt that said Dumbass University, It actually works. I even put clown shoes on one woman who is the worst T-Party freeper of them all. Today we were talking about climate change. Of course, there was all the well we have periods of ice ages and warming. I said yes, but those were made by Nature over millenium and this is man made because of carbon emissions and it's rapidly accelerating. Look up the science.
Then breakthrough! They said well we need to make electric cars affordable for everyone! Did I hear that right? You are actually suggesting a commie, liberal solution? I was gonna go on a roll about solar panels and reversible meters, but someone changed the conversation to pets.
However, I'm pumped. For the first time in a long time I didn't come home grinding my teeth in fury and despair. The mental costume change was fun too!

2. Change comes slowly but if you can educate them just a little ...
... and someone else does the same, eventually they may come around. One mind at a time.
Well done.
I've observed you fools for 12 years now, and none of you idiots are capable of educating me.

3. It's a drop in the bucket. The big problem is our
propaganda media. If there was only a way to force them to be honest, the world would become a better place.
If people were forced to be honest you goons would be in major trouble.

4. You mean something like a "fairness doctrine". Dreamer.
We just have to tell the truth. Eventually their lies will catch up to them.
You have a funny idea of what is truth.

provide real competition with Fox and CNN. They have the deep pockets to keep broadcasting at a loss until they can get a viewership and more exposure on cable and other TV venues. I believe they are set to launch in July. They have a pretty good format. The only problem with their broadcasts right now is they are actually concentrating on real news around the world stuff we aren't interested in like genocide in Africa and Asia. I think they are going to have to spend a little more time on American/Canadian news and some time refuting all the Heritage Foundation talking points and talking heads that find their way on to rival media.
It should be an interesting experiment to see if they can fight the Murdoch, Time Warner propaganda machine and provide REAL free market competition.

Which was all about peace and love,...which is actually polls as more POPULAR than war and hate.
I picture all of you as clowns, because you are clowns.

20. Oh, Cleita
Hope you don't have to trade off fitness for high blood pressure!
What are the chances of changing the channel? I did that in a doctor's office last summer. Told the receptionist it was stressful enough sitting in a waiting room without having to listen to the Faux BS. She changed it and one other person waiting actually thanked me. Worth a try?

Please, oh God, please, someone tell me that this DUmmie is a manicurist, beautician or something like that.

The only ones left that believe the global warming hoax are the ideologues.
That boat sailed a while ago for the thinking person.

No the DUmmie had to say that or everyone would call her a 1%er. Oh and it is lies, damn lies.

That was a bad Bouncy. Very bad. Cleita's been around long enough it should be able to create a more entertaining story.

A little advice, Celita primitive: If any of this is at least partially true, these people at the gym only marginally tolerate you because they view you as the crazy old aunt in the attic. Don't push it or your 73 year old butt will be out on the streets. Figure out what I'm telling you or end up living it, primitive.

Wait, I thought that free market competition was only something those evil capitalists and freepers believed in? You can't have it both ways DUches.

That's funny. Someone talking about open-market competition that can't even pay for an exercise class without trading some free-range eggs and plucked chickens to pay the bill.

Talk about vapid. Sounds like this person is a Perez Hilton and TMZ fan. I rather see real news and like to know what is happening around the world. I thought DUmmies were worldly people. No?

I always just visuals the DUmmie in the world it would inhabit were there no decent, good-hearted folk to parasite off of.

About every place I patronize in my town has Fox News on the television. These are not rich people watching it. Just every day people like myself.
From doctors to restaurants, Fox is on. Suck it DUmbasses.

Sounds like Cleita watched an episode of the Brady Bunch. I vaguely remember Marcia picturing a teacher in his tshirt and boxers to help her calm her nerves...maybe when she was learning to drive?

What.a.moron.
Carbon emissions have been here since the beginning of time, DUmbass.

:lmao: Forgot all about that, Chitown. Isn't Cleita too old for little imagination games like that? Picturing people in costumes rather than deal with them one-on-one like adults?
And Al Jazeera will save us from Fox? :mental:

Only time I watch Fox News is when I'm at the gym.

Yes. I can't imagine being so mentally underdeveloped that I have to imagine people in clown outfits. Hilarious and sad.
