The NRAhadists are calling as well. Beat the domestic terrorist group.
Call. Call. Call.
Even if your Representative and Senators are all in on this. Call anyway.
Call. Call. Call.

3. Yep, Southerland,
Rubio and Nelson.
This primitive lives in my district.
I can count on Southerland to tell the DUmmies NO.
Rubio I wish I could trust that he would tell them NO, but I kind of fear that he may end up being one of those who can be swayed.
Nelson may as well be 0bama so I know he will vote for anything the preezy wants.

The thread title puts me in mind of a robot or a Stepford Wife.

The king has spoken. Have you obeyed your Lord and Master yet?

"Führer befehlt, wir folgen!"

I love when these tools get filled with self righteousness, followed by self importance, and jump on the phone to call their congresscritter.
They invariably get dumped right into an impersonal "Press One to speak to Representative Wummberblummer" then, "We regret that the no one is unavailable to take your call. Your opinion is valuable to us. Please leave a message and we will relay it to the Congresscritter."
At which point they likely launch into a spittle flecked, incoherent rant about some pointless grievance, hang up, feel smug, and run to Democratic Underground to get congratulated.
Meanwhile, some twenty-something staffer comes in the next morning. "You have 105 new messages. Press 9 to delete them all."
The staffer presses 9, and the DUmbasses' rant is instantly rendered ineffective and useless, to coincide with the remainder of his or her miserable life.

Oh, yes I have.
I am on a first name basis with one of Kansas' US Representatives (who knows me as "Big Dog"), and I talk to the staff members of both Senators regularly for work.
Suck on that, celebrity worshiping DUmmies.

I see that 1.37 million per year is just for the US. Does anyone know how that number compares to the number of people in America killed (on purpose and accidentally combined) by guns?

Yes I have, but unfortunately Chief fauxchahontis was out in a sweat lodge somewhere in Washington and was not available for a pow wow.

I've heard around 10 - 12 thousand.

Thanks, Carl.
According to that in 2011 there were 32,163 total firearm related deaths in the US.
So the murder of 1.37 million babies causes the left to cry out for abortions to be more available while 32,163 firearm related deaths cause the left to cry out for gun control to prevent senseless deaths by guns.
If I've done the math correctly that means over 42 times more lives have been ended by abortion than guns when comparing 1996 abortions to 2011 gun deaths.
Now, does anyone have any questions as to whether or not the left lives in Bizarro world?
-
32,000, of which 20,000 were suicides.
Deaths by rifle or shotgun, 679 in 2011, 693 in 1999.
(About 4000 American per year die from accidental drowning. Don't tell the democrats, they'll want to ban water.)
Chicago gangbangers kill one another at a faster rate than the entire nation's death rate by long guns. Good job, guys.

I think it was Doug Ross' site that debunked that 1.3 Mil figure. The actual is something less than 750K and that is from ALL methods, (1980 -2011/12) not just handguns/guns etc. Check there:

Have I called? Damn right I have. And told the addled interns manning the phones that if Sen. Shaheen or Rep. Che-Pelosi support or vote for any sort of further restriction on my 2A rights, their opponents next year will not only get my money but my time volunteering for them as well.
So far, Senator Shaheen can't seem to give a straight answer, while Che-Pelosi has gone full retard.

Well today, I got an actual letter from her, herself!! I was surprised. I will share if you are interested!! What gets me, is that if a criminal is bent on fatal mischief, no amount of gun laws, magazine clips, are going to stop them. Especially, if they have negative psychological issues.

Dear Tania,
Thank you for contacting my office with your thoughts on gun control legislation. I appreciate hearing from you about this important issue.
I am deeply saddened by the mass shooting in Connecticut that took the lives of 20 innocent young children and many of their brave educators. My thoughts and prayers remain with the victims of this truly shocking attack. Such unthinkable violence affects our entire nation and has no place in our society.
In response to this tragedy, we must employ a comprehensive approach to firearm safety that includes improving access to mental health services and better enforcement of our current laws. We also need to consider measures such as limiting magazine clip capacity and requiring better background checks. Please know that I will carefully consider any legislation that would impact Second Amendment rights.
I am a strong supporter of an individual's right to bear arms for hunting and self-defense, and I believe our tradition of gun ownership can be respected while also ensuring that our cities and towns, schools and public buildings remain safe. I have supported these rights throughout my career, and I will continue to be an advocate for responsible firearm use while a member of the U.S. Senate.
Thank you again for sharing your thoughts with me. Please feel free to contact my office with any future questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Jeanne Shaheen
United States Senator
