Two things I would like to note before actually writing the story...
There was a lot of very positive energy, and I mean a lot of it. People have an all but defeated attitude about this.
There were, according to Lorena Gonzales head of the local Labor Council, at least ten other unions there. It was a very unified front. All got T-Shirts that presented an extremely united front. This is the most unified I have seen labor in a long time, so I am hoping this was one bridge too far for the usual suspects.
Finally, I know I said only two, the cops where there but unlike the Occupy events, the presence was very, and I mean this, very light. The only moment that presence went up was when Mayor Bob Filner (an ally of Labor) showed up. Why? The protective detail and the motorcycle cops that are part of the motorcade.
This was the most relaxed demonstration I have attended in a LONG TIME.
And I knew this, but to watch Bob Filner work the crowd is watching a master politician at work... wow.
I need to send a couple photos, one to Lorena, that is kind of a personal photo. She brought her kid-o along... and a few others. And I need to get dinner going... then I can write the story...

9. Um... my Babel fish is around here somewhere.
"The Babel fish is small, yellow, leech-like, and probably the oddest thing in the universe. It feeds on brain wave energy, absorbing all unconscious frequencies and then excreting telepathically a matrix formed from the conscious frequencies and nerve signals picked up from the speech centres of the brain, the practical upshot of which is that if you stick one in your ear, you can instantly understand anything said to you in any form of language: the speech you hear decodes the brain wave matrix.
It is a universal translator that neatly crosses the language divide between any species. The book points out that the Babel fish could not possibly have developed naturally, and therefore it both proves and disproves the existence of God:
Now it is such a bizarrely improbable coincidence that anything so mindbogglingly useful could evolve purely by chance that some thinkers have chosen to see it as a final and clinching proof of the non-existence of God. The argument goes something like this: "I refuse to prove that I exist," says God, "for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing.""But," says Man, "the Babel fish is a dead giveaway, isn't it? It could not have evolved by chance. It proves you exist, and so therefore, by your own arguments, you don't. QED.""Oh dear," says God, "I hadn't thought of that," and promptly vanishes in a puff of logic."Oh, that was easy," says Man, and for an encore goes on to prove that black is white, and gets killed on the next zebra crossing."

My cousin Vlada was born in 1964, 1965, maybe as late as 1966. Somewhere in there.
She makes W.C. Fields look like Frances Willard.

Oh GOD where would the world be with out the skills and talents of 000007-1/2 ?

The news about the politicoans and the other Vongresdmemberd was too urgent to wait.
To type like that she must have real fat, stubby little dwarf fingers.
Like the diameter of egg rolls, but much shorter.

I wonder, does she have us on ignore?

5. Actually it looks like the whole Postal Service thing is just a feint.
http://www.progressivepress.net/the-postal-service-is-not-a-gop-target/
A quote from the link:
While the threat to end Saturday delivery is real, the threat to abolish the postal service is a scam. Article I, Section 8, Clause 7 of the Constitution requires Congress “To establish Post Offices and post Roadsâ€. Thus, closing or privatizing the USPS would require a constitutional amendment. Despite a lot of hooting and hollering and speechifying, no one has ever proposed an amendment to do that.

Plenty of honks? Nads, as one pretend reporter to another, it would be best to not refer to white people as 'honks'.
