I have a lot of sympathy for farmers (I like to eat) but the government subsidizes 62% of the crop insurance premiums AND pays the excess over the limits of coverage as well. ????

I would think one or the other.

Maybe if the government would quit regulating everything, farmers would have a better chance of existing.

I wonder how that compares to money paid out to the scam and fraud filled Pigford settlement for black "farmers".
