Arizona considering a transgender potty law
Last edited Fri Mar 22, 2013, 12:03 PM USA/ET - Edit history (1)
MSNBC did a short piece on a totally insane law being considered in Arizona. It would state that you must use the public bathroom that's consistent with your gender on your birth certificate. It would be a misdemeanor to break this law, punishable by fine or imprisonment for six months.
Jeezus ****ing Christ. Who would be insane enough to think up something like this?
Every time you think the hopelessly demented can't get any crazier, they do.
And no, this is not a piece from The Onion.
So you DUmmies think that it's acceptable for a 10 year old boy to share the facilities with a woman that has had a addadicktome?

1. There goes all the women who pee in the men's room at sports events

I guess they will just have to hold their beer a little longer or go to the bushes
What kind of sporting event do they attend that has bushes near by?
I always knew that liberal women were envious of a penis. They have devised a way to pee standing up.

I've been to hundreds of events, even in Yankee states, even in shitholes like Michigan.
I have never seen this happen, even once.

Perhaps they should just move to Eugene. There are actually unisex bathrooms. Men, Women and I don't know what the **** I am!

I have.
Opening day at Miller Park is right around the corner and the chicks around here attend and imbibe just as much/more than guys. The combination of the fact you can't fit as many stalls in the same area as urinals and that a women's process takes longer equals very long, slow moving bathroom lines for the ladies room.
The men's line in contrast moves at a steady, brisk pace. We have figured out that the inconvenience of nature's call required an orderly, efficient, protocol lest we miss too much of the tailgate party, the brats get burnt on the grill, or too much drinking time is wasted.
Enter restroom and proceed directly to the furthest urinal, no talking, look forward, handle your business, immediately exit.
It seems women reach a point observing this model of efficiency they can no longer resist the urge to experience it. Depending on- ahem- the attributes of said female she may even be allowed to move to the front of the line.
Such is the way we gentlemen treat the fairer sex in the upper midwest(well some of it anyway).

Exactly. Seen the same scenario played out frequently in Seattle at Seahawks games.

I seen women get arrested for using the men's room at a concert to avoid the long line in front of the ladies room. This was in Iowa at the Carver Hawkeye Arena. I don't know what happened at trial, but they were arrested and police were stationed at the front entrance at the men's room after that.
I was associated with a pretty large event center a few years ago when I worked in sales for a hockey team in Illinois. When they built the center, they doubled the amount of women's rooms to help facilitate the facilities. :-)

New.
While this should be the rule at every establishment, why do we need another stinking law?

I found this interesting:
Before 1985, Houston's plumbing code for public buildings called for more men's restrooms than women's, because it was presumed that more men attended sporting events and conventions. "Women are everywhere," said Ms. Davenport. "You'd think the men's room should be the last bastion, but there's an inequity of space for women." Coverage of 'Pottygate'

Hole for hole....that's equal rights ladies. :-)

Never.
I've never seen it either.

Hmmm... interesting on a number of levels. I'm sure plumbing codes are updated from time-to-time and if women aren't allotted some measure of equality DUmpmonkey feminists or Gloria Allred-types would be all over it.
Miller Park in Milwaukee is a pretty new stadium(2001), and there are more bathrooms for both sexes over the previous baseball stadium. For every men's bathroom there is a women's. Judging from the concourse(since I've never happened to wander into the women's) they both look to have an equal footprint as well. I suppose the shortage is because stalls take up more sq ft than urinals.
If we were forced to expand women's rooms to allow for the same efficient flow of men's rooms... so long beer stands, concessions, souvenirs, etc. It would be all women's rooms with some men's sprinkled in. :-)

Once at a concert back in the 70's, two girls were in line behind me to use the urinals in the men's room....I didn't hang around to watch them use them though.....and they looked good too.

Too bad you didn't hang around to see how they went about it. I wonder if they faced the urinal while they peed, or if they backed up to it? My guess is that they backed up and kind of bent forward.

I have. I used to help out a friend with his beer booth for a Countryfest that used to be held at the harness track in Saratoga Springs. The last year that it was held there (eight years ago), I saw three different women backing into the urinals in the main grandstand mens' room to use them, and I also saw a young woman behind the trailer of a semi rig pissing under it. I quickly looked away each time. :o
Like I said, that was the last year that the event was held there.

We all know if one of the femi-nazis at DU seen a man using the ladies room at a concert or sporting event they would be on the phone calling 911 and lawyering up.
