Did the GOP's crazy and racism cause him to run as a Democrat where he could get elected instead of as a Moderate Republican where he would have has a much more difficult time?
President Obama sure is not the very Liberal Democrat that he is accused of being by the right and if he were a Moderate Republican they would hate him just as much like they do to all Moderate Republicans anyway.

Liberals like the DUmmies and other conspiracy theorists have been bringing that up for years to try and claim that Bush was behind 9/11 or something. However, any kind of link between Bush and the bin Laden family is a moot point, for three reasons:
1. The bin Ladens are a very large, very wealthy, and very influential/ well- connected family. It would be nearly impossible to do any kind of business deals in the Middle East without at least one bin Laden being involved somehow.
2. With the obvious exception of Osama, the bin Laden family is known for being very friendly and cooperative towards the West.
3. (And this is a big one) Tying in somewhat to point #2, Osama was always the black sheep of his family. He was an illegitimate son to begin with, born from one of his father's concubines rather than one of the legitimate family matriarchs. The bin Laden family officially disowned Osama when he was in his twenties due to how radical and unhinged he had become. When 9/11 happened, none of his family had spoken to him for years.
So, attempting to link the Bushes and the bin Ladens really doesn't prove anything.

I'm reminded of a dummie back then JReb, went by the handle of mrh. Supposedly was an engineer. Not sure what kind, it had something to do with the oil industry. He kept complaining that he was unemployed for 5 years under the horrible Bush economy. Supposedly had a masters in it and had like 30 years experience. Complained often. I thought to myself at the time that he must be a lousy engineer or can't pass a drug test. Dunno whatever happened to him. Maybe he went to work for Chavez.
