Rick Snyder needs to be impeached for disenfranchising half of MI's black citizens

For those who don't know the background, in 2011 Michigan's legislature passed an expanded emergency manager law allowing the governor to take over cities that were in fiscal difficulty and appoint a so-called "emergency manager" with the power to void contracts, sell off city assets, fire and cut salaries of city personnel, etc. Basically, the power to do whatever the hell he liked. An 'emergency dictator,' if you will.
Michigan's voters repealed the law in 2012. One month later, the ****ers in the legislature passed another law that was pretty much the same thing.
Emergency managers serve at the will of the governor and don't have to answer to local voters. Local voters can't kick them out of their city. Local elected officials have no power to do anything that goes against the will of the emergency manager.
In other words, the residents of these cities have lost their democratic right to elect their own officials and have input into their own government. Nullified by executive fiat.
6 cities in Michigan are currently under emergency management. All but one are majority black, and together they are home to half of Michigan's black residents. One of them, Detroit, is still Michigan's largest city.
Impeach Snyder.
In Benton Harbor MI the emergency dictator laid off most of the fire department, proposing to have 'cross-trained' police cover fires.
Such that ONE fireman and some police are now answering fire calls.

This is tantamount to murder -- of emergency personnel & of residents with fires. Also tantamount to property destruction & dispossession of residents. "Ethnic cleansing" by another name.

Let’s recap what exactly the king/dictator/governor of Michigan has been up to.
King Ricky’s appalling financial martial law was, and apparently will continue to be, the legislation that allows one person (the emergency manager) to dictate all kinds of things without any input from voters. It renders local officials and voters powerless. For example:
He could do away with unions, with police officers, mayorships, you name it. You voted for someone and they won? Doesn’t matter. OUT.
You like that school your kid goes to? Nevermind. GONE.
You cherish democracy and thought it would always be The American way? TOO BAD.
Then there’s the GOP’s ongoing goal of crushing unions as a way of denying Democrats their political funding which would lead to eventual single party rule.

All the DUmmies are upset that a repuke is trying to do something with Detroit instead of letting it finally burn to the ground. Not one of the DUmmies will learn the lesson of what happens when you let corrupt liberals run a city. They still manage to blame the repukes for what the dems did.

Amazing the power of the repukes, they actually destroyed a democrat run city.

I get it now. California voted Prop 8 and no twinkie marriage, but that act of democracy is to be ignored. Michigan residents voted for no emergency manager, and that was to be upheld.
Yeah, no hypocrisy there.

The Pointed Headed Dweeb is quite the racist, isn't he. Does he think Detroit's well-being only matters to blacks. Does he not know that many people of other colors care, have stuck with, hoped and prayed for the future of, Detroit.
He needs to quit repeating quips that he hears and go lend a hand in the recovery of what was once a city full of promise. A city that Dems, for years, financially raped.
