When i went to bed Sunday night I was feeling a little queazy. I woke up Monday morning at about 4 AM sick as hell. I took some Phenergan, but it didn't help.
I suffered through it all day Monday and Tuesday. By Tuesday night my fever had went down and I felt better. I woke up Wednesday morning around 12:30 AM sick as hell again. I guess my fever was back because it had the chills. When I went to the bathroom I was shaking so bad it looked like I was having some sort of seizure. I took another Phenergan, and it didn't help.
By 6 this morning I was puking and my stomach was running off.
I finally gave in to my wife's demands and went to the ER around 7 this morning. They gave me something that was supposed to help with nausea. It did help, but now it's wearing off. I'm not suppose to take another one until 4 this afternoon.

Good luck fighting the bug, Chuck.
Heal! Get well soon!

Oh that's terrible. Hope you're on the mend real soon.

What did they say it is?

I had the flu in January, and it was nasty!
Then I got a killer cold in February. It was the kind the beat the daylights outa me.
March has been OK so far.
So its just your turn. I was there, I can sympathize. Been there. GET WELL SOON, and see a doctor! Doctors give out the good drugs.

According to the after care instructions they are calling it Gastroenteritis which is apparently a fancy word for stomach virus. The ER doc said that there had been a big influx of it in our area for the last few days. I've just never had anything like this that has lasted this long. I've also never felt like I was getting well then get way worse in just a few hours.
I feel better now, but it seems to come and go.

You probably already know this but drink lots of water, there ain't nothin worse then the dry heaves.

Yep, the flu really sucks big time, especially when you think it's over but it isn't.
BTW: I drink lots of watered down gatoraide for it......and lot's of sleep.

That sounds rough, hope you feel better soon. Whenever I've had the stomach bug, I crave Lipton noodle soup. The one that's made from a box. (Not those little instant packets)
I think it's because of the lack of sodium. You lose a lot of electrolites from vomiting and what else comes with a stomach flu.

I crave Campbell's tomato soup, made with milk instead of water. (Cream of tomato, I guess.)

Kill it with Whiskey!
I kid, I kid.
Had something like it last spring. Lost 20 lbs because everything went straight through me. :yahoo:

Hope you're better soon! My son came down with this a few weeks ago -- was throwing up and had extreme diarrhea (sorry!) for 6 hours (all night). Got him to the doctor who told us to go to the ER as he couldn't even keep water down and was severely dehydrated. The ER pumped 2 bags of fluids and anti-nausea drugs into him via IV. Nasty flu!!

I'm still alive. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't feel this bad otherwise.
