Let’s Hear It for the Obama Recovery!

The stock market is at an all-time (absolute) high.

Unemployment is below 8% (The US economy added 236,000 jobs in February, and unemployment fell to 7.7 percent of the workforce, adding to signs of steady job-market momentum despite the burden of higher gas prices and tax hikes.)

If Romney had won, this is all that we would be hearing from the MSM. Repeat after me, “Obama Recovery”, “Obama Recovery”, “Obama Recovery”…

http://www.democraticunderground.com/1251293518

If Romney had won, we would be hearing how unemployment is still at recession levels, and how the 1 percenters on wall street are making out like bandits.

Looking at the post count of this DUmmy, I think we have a mole.  :-)

Maybe msongs is confused and does think that Romney is President, a DUmmy would never say anything like that about the preezy.

All I hear is crickets.

I don't hear the crickets, they must have been laid off due to the sequester.

Refresh my memory. What was the unemployment numbers during the "terrible" Bush economy as compared to this wonderful Obama Recovery?

The way the DUmmies talk it must have been at least 75%.

Only because the Fed is printing money it doesn't have and pumping it into the economy every month.

Look up quanitative easing.  We're in round three of it right now.

Oh and speaking of the Fed...they are also artifically keep interest rates down.

The U3 numbers for Bush 43 were as low as 4.7%  The U6 numbers for Obama are at 14%.  Since Obama took office the country's job pool has shrunk by 8 million jobs.

We should be adding that every WEEK not every month if this were a real recovery.  When the Reagan recovery was in full force there were MILLIONS of new jobs added every month.  Not the paltry sum you claim is a good thing.

And they certainly weren't the burger flipper jobs you love to deride when a Republican is in office.

No wonder they refer to folks like you as low information voters.  :whatever:

Yarp--and if we weren't shoveling $85 Billion PER MONTH into the market, what would it be doing?  Oh, and what do you call it when you have too much money chasing too few products?

OH YEAH--INFLATION!!!

Next, the numbers for unemployment are so jacked up you wouldn't know U-3 from U-6 if it sat on your face and wiggled, DUmmies.  Look up the number for "workforce utilization percentage."  See that?  Good.  Now look at the difference between 2008-09 and now.  See how it's taken a major shit to where it's the lowest since they started keeping that number?  Yeah?  Good.  Because what that number means is that if we had the same percentage now in the workforce as we did in 2008, U-3 unemployment (which isn't the "real" figure, BTW, just the one the MSM likes to report) would actually be closer to 12-13 percent.

And how about those folks who are working a part-time job (or two, or three) to make ends meet versus the one full-time job they had?  Guess what?  That's "driving down unemployment" too.

Now why, oh why, dear DUmb****s, would this all be happening?  Hmmmmm...Obamacare, taxes, increase in capital gains taxes, shit like that...seem to remember hearing about those somewhere....

That's less than the number of illegal mexicans (i.e., future democrat voters) the muslim allowed to walk across the border in February.

Now that you mentioned that....they are still using the same number of 11 million illegals in the country, but that was the same number they used 12 years ago.  Does anyone believe it's still only 11?

Why are there only four responses to this call for celebration?   :???:

Lurkers, you know what's hitting the news?  The daunting, near-impossible process one has to go through to get the Obamacarebucks.

I just keep imagining that Cleveland obamaphone creature trying to make the first ounce of sense of any of it.

I can also see massive fraud and scams.  "Here, I can help!  First, pay me this fee."

From the Associated Press this morning: "The government’s draft application runs 15 pages for a three-person family. An outline of the online version has 21 steps, some with additional questions."

Cleveland Obamaphone creature...
