With Lurch as Secretary of State, are things coming loose in the administration?
Kerry Stresses That It’s ‘President Obama’s Foreign Policy’
Whether on Syria, Egypt or Iran, Secretary of State John Kerry wants Americans to know that President Obama, not he, is in charge of America’s foreign policy.
(snip)
Kerry told NPR’s Michele Kelemen, “Let me say to you very directly, first of all, this is President Obama’s foreign policy,..."
(snip)
...Kerry said, “Well, I’m willing to do what the president instructs me to do, and the president calls that shot.â€
(snip)
...he told her, “Well, it’s not me … it’s a matter of the president,..."
(snip)
...Kerry answered, “That’s not my job to do. That’s the president of the United States’ decision …â€
(snip)
And to a question about “the Kerry approach to foreign policy,†he replied, “Well, first of all, let me emphasize it’s not the Kerry approach to foreign policy, it’s the Obama approach. It’s President Obama’s approach, and his administration."
(snip)
“My job is to tell him the truth and to tell him what I see and to give him the best advice that I can. And I’m confident that everybody else on his staff works to do exactly that. And the president, in the end, makes the tough calls.â€

There had been reported friction between Clinton and hussein for some time. In her responses to the Senate committee investigating Benghazi, she said, without mentioning names, that it was a matter of "foreign policy" not to send in a military force when the embassy was under attack.
The remaining question is, with all of hussein's vacations and golf outings, are all these decisions being made by him, or is he really just a mouthpiece for somebody else?

As has been pointed out by many pundits, Barry has surrounded himself with sycophants that go beyond the pale. At least Hillary spoke her mind (sometimes).
Lurch is yet another example of an overpaid professional politician who is a classic example of the Peter Principle.

No one cares about that Ben Ghazi dude.
Rand Paul made the repukes look like fools, and Boner and his sequester is killing us all.
Poor 0bama is doing his best to fix everything, but he has had a lot of bad luck and those miserable repukes screw up everything because they hate his black skin.

An odd turn of phrase for a Secretary of State, attributing everything to the President...most Secretaries would have the wits to say 'It is a matter of national policy, not my personal beliefs,' adding the last part only if they wanted to either distance themselves from it or (Much more rarely) deny their own worthiness to even have a personal opinion about something as majestic and ineluctable as his own Administration's 'National policy.'

OTOH, maybe a not-so-smart, but clever, Kerry is inoculating himself against future Obama foreign policy failures he knows will happen.

But that's where the not-so-smart and dumbass Kerry runs into a brick wall.
No way in hell can a SecState divorce himself from setting foreign policy. He can preach it all day long, but that's his gig.
Oh wait...Kerry has had a lifetime of practice in dodging responsibility.
Never mind.
