Probably posted previously, but here goes:

So when I get bar coded I would get 00-xxx-xx-xxxx? Is that still going to be on my forhead?

So, what's the bar code for parts made in China, assembled in India, shipped by Japanese ship, packaged in USA in cardboard made from Canadian trees?

So...my pack of pepperoni pizza cracker Combos, barcode beginning in 414, were made in ...Germany.

Pardon me if I take that with all the grains of salt these Combos are covered with.

Oh... also, the brake cleaner spray on the workbench, beginning in 892, is from off-planet, maybe?

This makes no sense.  My tissues start with 078 and say "Made in the USA".  They are the Sam's Club brand, Members Mark.

According to Snopes, it's a mixture of true and false information.

Well, on the package of cigarettes in front of me, it says 0-271852-9, the first and last digits being tinier than the other digits.

I'm sure however these cigarettes were made in America.
