http://www.businessinsider.com/bob-woodward-obama-sequester-white-house-reporting-price-politics-2013-2#ixzz2M9ctqk2C
Bob Woodward said this evening on CNN that a "very senior person" at the White House warned him in an email that he would "regret doing this," the same day he has continued to slam President Barack Obama over the looming forced cuts known as the sequester.

He's doing the right thing by making this public knowledge. It's sort of his left behind note saying: "If anything happens to me, Obama did it."

Seriously do they really think one of the men who brought down Nixon is going to buckle under pressure?
This is like saying to Chuck Norris that you are going to kick his ass.

The president of the Black Chamber of Commerce (who voted for Obama in '08) told the Daily Caller and Hannity that Obama was boderline communist.

And the threats and the hour hour of yelling at Woodward on the phone by the same staffer is only going to make Bob dig his heels in on this that much more.
Also...looks like Politico had the story on this...and were content to sit on it and say nothing...until they had their hand forced by Woodward talking about the incident on CNN.

Gee...it took him this long to figure this out?
Actually, 0bama is an outright Marxist.

Isn't Woodward a Liberal?
Now that he's looking at a Democrat administration with a critical eye, the rest of them will turn on him like sharks.

I see that they are saying he is just getting old. Isn't that ageism?

WMAL EXCLUSIVE: Woodward's Not Alone - Fmr. Clinton Aide Davis Says He Received White House Threat
Bob Woodward isn't the only person who's received threats for airing the Obama administration's dirty laundry. It seems anyone is a potential target of the White House these days - even former senior members of the Clinton administration.
A day after Woodward's claim that a senior White House official had told him he would "regret" writing a column criticizing President Obama's stance on the sequester, Lanny Davis, a longtime close advisor to President Bill Clinton, told WMAL's Mornings on the Mall Thursday he had received similar threats for newspaper columns he had written about Obama in the Washington Times.
Davis told WMAL that his editor, John Solomon, "received a phone call from a senior Obama White House official who didn't like some of my columns, even though I'm a supporter of Obama. I couldn't imagine why this call was made." Davis says the Obama aide told Solomon, "that if he continued to run my columns, he would lose, or his reporters would lose their White House credentials."
... If it did happen again, Davis believes the administration did it to the wrong person.
"Firstly, you don't threaten anyone. Secondly, you don't threaten Bob Woodward," said Davis. "He's one of the best reporters ever. He's factual. You can disagree with facts that he reports, but he's factual. Don't mess with him about his facts. You can mess with him about the interpretation of his facts, but this is not a reporter you tangle with," he added.

What? The Chicago thug WH threatening and intimidating reporters? Never happened. :whatever:
-
As has been said elsewhere, maybe on CC, when the sequester cuts do not bring the doom and gloom that the WH is saying that they will, htere's going to be some major egg on the faces of the Obamaminions. However, when the economy starts to reel from the effect of the new Obamataxes, then they're ****ed. The American public is going to turn on Dems in the midterms again.

The Obama Regime will do whatever it takes to make his dire predictions come true. However, I look for Boehner to kiss Obama's ass during their meeting Friday. By Saturday Obama will be crowing about he beat the republicans into submission and all is well once again. (at least until the current continuing resolution is up at the end of March)
-
Now a third liberal, Ron Fournier, has written about being threatened by a WH official too.

We have to keep in mind that Boner has to keep his powder dry & live to fight another day. Or something like that.

One thing to our advantage is that the House is in recess at the moment, so it would be a little more difficult than otherwise for "Bend Over" Boehner to decide that Obama's jizz doesn't taste so bad as he remembers...

Maybe you're thinking of Cy Sperling. Not just the president but a member of the Hair Club for Men.

During Bill Clinton's first term as President, from 1993–1996, Sperling served as deputy director of the National Economic Council while the Council was directed by Robert Rubin, who was promoted to Treasury Secretary. Sperling became National Economic Adviser to Clinton and director of the National Economic Council from 1996 to 2000.
As director of the NEC, Sperling, who had played a key role in the 1993 Deficit Reduction Act, was a key negotiator of the 1997 bipartisan Balanced Budget Act.[3] Sperling was also a principal negotiator with then-Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers of the Financial Modernization Act of 1999, also known as the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. Gramm-Leach-Bliley repealed large portions of the depression-era Glass-Steagall Act allowing banks, securities firms and insurance companies to merge.[4]
Also in 1999, together with United States Trade Representative Charlene Barshefsky, Sperling successfully negotiated and concluded the China-World Trade Organization agreement in Beijing, paving the way for China to enter the WTO in 2001.[5]
Sperling was the chief economic advisor for Hillary Clinton during her presidential campaign.[6][7]
Sperling was also on the staff of the Council on Foreign Relations, where he founded and served as director of the Center for Universal Education—an organization focused on ensuring quality, universal education for the world’s poorest children.[8]
According to Bloomberg News, Sperling earned $887,727 from Goldman Sachs in 2008 for advice on its charitable giving and $158,000 for speeches mostly to financial companies.[9]
Sperling is the author of The Pro-Growth Progressive, a book arguing that liberals should seek to harness market forces in pursuing progressive goals, and co-author of What Works In Girls' Education?. He was also a consultant for the television series The West Wing.
From 2009 to 2011, Sperling served as a counselor to Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, advising on fiscal, budget, tax, job creation and small business issues.[10]
In January 2011, President Barack Obama appointed Sperling as the director of the National Economic Council.
