WY Lawmaker Tells Anti Gun Resident ‘By All Means, Leave’ If They Don’t Like State’s Gun Laws
A lawmaker in WY delivered a blunt response to an anti-gun woman who wrote to him expressing outrage over proposed expansion of gun rights in the state.
The woman and her husband had just moved to Wyoming and were, apparently, appalled to learn that WY enjoys a strong gun culture (as well as the 5th best murder rate in the country and 4th best overall violent crime rate)...
...State rep Hans Hunt had a very blunt response for her, “I’ll be blunt,†he wrote back. “If you don’t like the political atmosphere of Wyoming, then by all means, leave. We, who have been here a very long time (I am proudly 4th generation) are quite proud of our independent heritage.â€
I only regret that the winters in WY are 11 mounts.

I’ll be blunt. If you don’t like the political atmosphere of Wyoming, then by all means, leave. We, who have been here a very long time (I am proudly 4th generation) are quite proud of our independent heritage. I don’t expect a “mass exodus†from our state just because we’re standing up for our rights. As to your comments on fracking, I would point out that you’re basing your statement on “dangers†that have not been scientifically founded or proved as of yet.
It offends me to no end when liberal out-of-staters such as yourself move into Wyoming, trying to get away from where they came from, and then pompously demand that Wyoming conform to their way of thinking. We are, and will continue to be, a state which stands a head above the rest in terms of economic security. Our ability to do that is, in large part, to our “live and let live†mentality when it comes to allowing economic development, and limiting government oversight. So, to conclude, if you’re so worried about what our legislature is working on, then go back home.

Hunt in you e-mail about why you moved here. I am looking at the text right now saying you were seeking out congregations all over the country and chose Cheyenne, WY. You said you chose it bc the people there are advocates of justice...which proves your true motive. You read from the Qaran every Sunday also? How much is Obama paying you to move to a conservative state and spread your garbage? If you are so concerned about children in schools and truly a minister at heart, why aren't you advocating to put prayer and God back in schools instead of threatening to leave the state if you don't get your way? Liberals are whiny hypocrites and liars...as Hunt said, by all means...move. Just don't move back to VA, we don't need you anywhere near TN.

First allow me to THANK Rep Hans Hunt for his decorum and the mild tone in which he addressed...had it been me I would have said something about taking my response rolling it up in a cone shape and shoving it where the sun don't shine...
I have since contacted Hans Hunt and ask they in the future he add a PS to his letters like that one:
