Assailant shoots into SF home with AK-47

Kareem Benton, 42, got into an argument Sunday night with another man on the 1000 block of McAllister Street and followed the man to his home nearby, said Officer Albie Esparza, a police spokesman.

Benton then pulled out a fully automatic AK-47 and "sprayed" the man's home with bullets just after 7:30 p.m., Esparza said. The victim, who was in his home, was shot in the leg and is expected to survive.

Let's count how many laws were broken by Benton before he shot into an occupied home.

"Criminals don't adhere to any laws," Esparza said. "That's why they are criminals."

Best paragraph in the whole article.

No, if we had better gun laws the homeowner could have killed him and called the sanitation department to haul off the body.
