Title: Maybe a state constitutional referendum is in order
Post by: SSG Snuggle Bunny on February 23, 2013, 05:19:05 PM: PROPOSED: All officers of all state agencies shall be subject to the terms, conditions and penalties of all gun control laws enacted whether by local, state or federal government to include restrictions on the type of equipment carried and location. Officers and agents of the state shall be subject to these laws whether on-duty or off-duty. There shall be no exception for the active pursuit of criminal suspects.

If a "gun free zone" makes it safe for citizens then there is no need for cops to carry into a gun free zone. If the government wants you to only have 6 rounds then the cops, who are far more numerous, need only six (or fewer) rounds.

From the way I've seen some cops shoot, they need to be under Andy/Barney rule.
