I love Blues.

*I was doing some genealogy today and lo and behold, I have an "Essie Pearl _____" in my family tree. Born in the sticks of MS too. Go figure :-)

My favorite version of "Stagger Lee" is by Mississippi John Hurt. And if I can get my camera goin' I'll post a video of me playin' it!

Haven't seen the movie, yet.

I have a couple of songs from the soundrack on my iPod.

As a harmonica player, it's my JOB to love Mississippi Delta Blues.

We drove down Highway 61 on our way to New Orleans after college. It was like going to Mecca for me.
