Limbaugh Is Losing! With Each Hateful Word, More Sponsors Leave. (300 Left Last Month) Total: 2,500+

He thinks he's getting away with comments like these. He's not. Last month I published a diary about his sponsors leaving, http://www.dailykos.com/... and it received over 18k facebook likes/shares. People are hungry - starving to see him go, and thousands of consumers are contacting his sponsors via StopRush.net and signing petitions like the one below. Organizations like Daily Kos, UniteWomen.org, Planned Parenthood, Media Matters and other groups, are exposing Limbaugh for who and what he is: a racist, sexist, gay-hating, lying bigot. This is not me, 'name-calling'. This is truth in media, and backed up by Limbaugh's very own words in audio/video.
The good news? In one month, over 300 more sponsors have pulled ads, now totaling over 2,500. (This does not count the 800 or so who have 'left quietly') Limbaugh now averages a loss of 10 sponsors per day. To make up for these sponsorship losses, it is known he has been subsidized by outside sources including FreedomWorks (backed by the Tea Party). And I'm betting he is having to subsidize himself, to stay on the air.

Well his crapping out may take Clear Channel and Cumulus under.Good in a way, but Bain now owns Clear Channel I believe.
May be someday soon, the radio landscape will be changed dramatically when Rushbo and little Seanny and the wannabes are gone.
I doubt it DUmmy and you know why? When conservative radio shows have sponsors their ads are heard by people who have 2 nickles to rub together and will buy the products and services advertised. When they sponsor things like Air America the ads are being heard by people who can't afford to buy 2 cases of ramen noodles in a single month.

Yes he did, and I knew you idiots would get all butt hurt, but Shelia Lee Jackson claimed she was a freed slave so Rush was pondering if she was freed who owned her previously, it's a legitimate question when one claims to be a freed slave.

I listened to him in the early 1990's to see what the hullaboo was in media. And it was all there, planting the seeds. The day he goes off Armed Forces Radio is the day I'll cheer. Not until then.
I have never heard him say anything racist, then again I'm not a DUmmy and they think everyone but them are racists.

12. Really the sad thing is he is still on the air. He should be taken off the air even if the man
has 3,000 sponsors. It doesn't matter. He creates so much hostility that alone he should be out. Just because we have freedom of speech doesn't mean crazy people have a right to scream hate over the air ways.
I listen to him most days as I'm working and I never get any feelings of hostility from him, now if I read a single thread at DU I see all kinds of hostility especially towards minority members of the GOP.
That is the difference between us DUmmies, your whole system of beliefs are built on anger and hostility and you want to get revenge on those who you feel have wronged you. Even your preezy told you to vote for revenge. Conservatives on the other hand do not have beliefs based on anger and revenge, we simply want to be left alone. We didn't get all pissy when Air America went on the air, we laughed at you but there were no boycotts and no movements to forcibly remove them from the radio dial.

It's just a matter of time. I'm as impatient as anyone, but I really feel he will be gone from our troubles soon. Within a year or two. He will either have a massive stroke or a massive cardiac infarction.

Local advertisers come and go all the time. Its no big deal. They run their ads for the contract they signed...get their desired increase in customers and move on. Its a normal thing in the world of radio advertising.
This is just another case of the Kos Kiddies and the DUmmies not knowing shit about what they are talking about.
Oh and lurkers. The national sponsors that dropped Rush all were begging to come back within a week. Rush turned them down and filled their slots with new clients.

Yep, no shortage of "obscene profit time-outs" as he calls them.
They always say the same damn things over and over in their regular monthly/weekly Rush thread. They could just take an old thead, copy/paste it, and save themselves some work.
Mysteriously, I turn the dial at hgh noon, and there he is, as always.

Lifelock was one of several that begged to come back. I remember Rush saying they were looking at them on a case-by-case basis.
What I thought was funny was that one of the new sponsors that was trying to get on was Chevrolet.

He doesn't. The DUmmies count all of the advertisers on syndicated/local stations, which Rush has nothing to do with nor makes any money from (directly).

During winter break, our local station that plays Rush was playing "Hookah is so baddddd" commercials and the funny Fracking commericals like, "ever since they started fracking, I noticed it harder to walk up the stairs". I know those two were played mostly for the high school and college aged kids during that two week period. Now that everyone is back in school, it's the same old boring stuff I could recite verbatim. I can't wait for the next break for the high school and college kids. I'm hoping for more funny fracking commercials.
