TPM: Rubio Takes Awkward Water Break At State Of The Union Speech (VIDEO)

http://livewire.talkingpointsmemo.com/entry/rubio-takes-sip-of-water-midway-through-sotu

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) appeared to be having some trouble delivering the GOP rebuttal to President Obama's State of the Union address on Tuesday night, when he awkwardly reached for a sip of water midway through his speech.

Lots of DUmmies making comments about Senator Rubio's State of the Union address response without contending with any of the points that he made.

If you want to see awkward, here's awkward:

Barack Hussein O'Stumblebum standing silently with his thumb up his ass for over a minute waiting for his teleprompter to fire up and tell him what to say.  Like the guy in the audience said--awkward.

Typical of the left, find some silly thing to focus on and they won't have to worry about arguing about what was said.

That's what got Obama re-elected.

Rubio responded today:

“I don’t always respond to the president but, when I do, I drink water. Stay thirsty my friends."

Yep low information voters!

I bet it just eats the DUmmies up that we call them that.  :-)

They won't be able to smear him like they did Palin.
They will try but they will fail.

They will try--and in doing so, they'll turn off a huge chunk of the Hispanic voting populace.  They'll even turn off a fair number of moderates who will think, "They've gone after women who didn't agree with them (Palin, Michelle Malkin, Michelle Bachmann), after blacks who didn't agree with them (Clarence Thomas, Herman Cain, now Dr. Benjamin Carson), and now they're going after Hispanics who don't agree with them.  Such an inclusive bunch."

Don't bet on it.  They were able to smear Herman Cain with impunity. There was no backlash from the black community.

:lmao:  That was pretty funny.

The whole thing is silly and embarrassing for this country.  MSNBC and CNN especially.  Mentioned over 500 times, something like that?  What the hell is wrong with this nation?  Can we please get serious about serious shit yet?

Agree.
Obama's administration gets 4 people killed in Benghazi and the left and the media (BIRM) do not say boo about it. Rubio takes a G** damn drink of water and that merits 500+ mentions on the news and tons of threads on the left wing message boards.

The left, the liberal media, and the low information voters will never get serious about serious shit.  If they did, Obama would be impeached and we wouldn't see democrat rule in this country for a long, long time.

My husband said now that Comcast has bought the entirety of NBC, he's hoping they are doing it so they can sell it off.  Some right-minded conservatives need to combine their $$$ and buy it.

Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh, for example.

Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh, for example.

A caller asked Rush something similar, and he said he couldn't talk about it yet, but he was working on something??????  Probably not as big as NBC though.  I would like to just see some straight up reporting without bias, but I don't think that will ever happen.
